    Romy’s Journey

    Romy was diagnosed at 7 yrs old with Chronic Neuro-Lyme Disease, Bartonella, Babesia, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, EB, HV6, Strep, and multiple food and environmental allergies (IgE). She received Lyme congenitally from her mother, in utero, as well as receiving multiple exposures throughout her young life.

    Romy lived with 26 excruciating pain areas all over her body – muscles, joints, literally any skin surface was painful to the touch. Romy had a very scary experience with a Lyme-induced seizure on New Years Eve in the beginning of her journey.

    Romy had to be carried or transported in a stroller, shopping cart, or wheelchair in order to prevent fire-like pain shooting up from her calves.  This pain was so sharp and agonizing, she would scream.  She could walk about one block without triggering this pain.
    Full-body tics would prevent her from sleeping.  At one point she could not run but “gallop” and drag her foot behind her.  She experienced  facial tics and vocal tics, very swollen/painful throat, fatigue, sensory integration dysfunction, food/environmental allergies, thermoregulation problems, blurry/sandy eyes, encephalitis, and inflammation in every joint.

    Paranoia, clinginess, night terrors, OCD, aggression, fears, anxiety, and poor executive functioning.  She had a pounding, frontal headache for over two years.

    Interventions include Homeopathy & Dietary Changes

    Homeopathy proved to be an invaluable tool for Romy’s healing.  Homeopathy was the only modality that was effective in reducing Romy’s agonizing pain.

    After the microbial numbers were reduced to a more manageable level, herbs began to work.  Romy utilized an important herbal protocol on top of antibiotics.  Romy lost about 10 symptoms in 1 1/2 months.  After that, her family focused more on rebuilding and repair with supplements and other therapies.

    Scientists Prove Link Between Aluminum and Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease

    In today’s world, aluminum is omnipresent, building up within our system from everyday products.  
    Now, we are learning that aluminum toxicity can manifest itself in alarming ways.

    As many of us are aware, the human body is being bombarded with aluminum in everyday products. Many of our foods, vaccinations, medications, baby products, cosmetics, cleaning products and even soft furnishings contain aluminum and it appears that we are powerless to prevent the ever-increasing onslaught.

    This is extremely worrying because, according to Professor Exley, a scientist from Keele University in Staffordshire, aluminum can accumulate in the body and has the potential to do harm wherever it ends up.

    Link Between Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease and Aluminum Now Proven

    For many years, scientists have claimed that a link between aluminum and Alzheimer’s disease has existed. However, up until now, there has been little evidence to support their claims, which has left the scientific community confused.

    However, according to scientists from Keele University in Staffordshire, recent studies have now confirmed that aluminum does play a role, in some, if not all, cases of Alzheimer’s disease. 

    In an article titled, Strong evidence linking Aluminum to Alzheimer’srecently published on The Hippocratic Post website, Exley explained that:

    “We already know that the aluminium content of brain tissue in late-onset or sporadic Alzheimer’s disease is significantly higher than is found in age-matched controls. So, individuals who develop Alzheimer’s disease in their late sixties and older also accumulate more aluminium in their brain tissue than individuals of the same age without the disease.

    Even higher levels of aluminium have been found in the brains of individuals, diagnosed with an early-onset form of sporadic (usually late onset) Alzheimer’s disease, who have experienced an unusually high exposure to aluminium through the environment (e.g. Camelford) or through their workplace. This means that Alzheimer’s disease has a much earlier age of onset, for example, fifties or early sixties, in individuals who have been exposed to unusually high levels of aluminium in their everyday lives.”

    His most recent study, published by the Journal of Trace Elements in Medicine and Biology in December 2016, titled: Aluminium in brain tissue in familial Alzheimer’s disease, is one of the many studies that he and his team have conducted on the subject of aluminum over the years. However, this study in particular is believed to be of significant value, because it is the first time that scientists have measured the level of aluminum in the brain tissue of individuals diagnosed with familial Alzheimer’s disease. 

    (Alzheimer’s disease or AD is considered to be familial if two or more people in a family suffer from the disease.) 

    According to their paper, the concentrations of aluminum found in brain tissue donated by individuals who died with a diagnosis of familial AD, was the highest level ever measured in human brain tissue. 

    What Do Their Findings Mean?

    To explain the team’s findings in more depth, Exley wrote:

    “This new research may suggest that these genetic predispositions to early onset Alzheimer’s disease are linked in some way to the accumulation of aluminium (through ‘normal’ everyday human exposure) in brain tissue.

    Ageing is the main risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease and aluminium accumulates in human brain tissue with ageing. Environmental or occupational exposure to aluminium results in higher levels of aluminium in human brain tissue and an early onset form of sporadic Alzheimer’s disease. The genetic predispositions which are used to define familial or early-onset Alzheimer’s disease also predispose individuals to higher levels of brain aluminium at a much younger age.

    Aluminium is accepted as a known neurotoxin, for example being the cause of dialysis encephalopathy, and its accumulation in human brain tissue at any age can only contribute to any ongoing disease state or toxicity.”

    How to Reduce the Body’s Burden of Aluminum

    As a solution, Professor Exley has suggested that we aim to reduce the accumulation of aluminum in our brains through everyday activities.  One of the ways that Professor Exley has suggested to help reduce the accumulation of aluminum in the body is by drinking a silicon-rich mineral water. According to Exley, silicon protects the body against the toxicity of aluminum, and by drinking a silicon-rich mineral water, his studies have revealed that the aluminum is removed from the human body through the excretion of urine.

    Many people, including many physicians, believe and will tell you “There is no mercury in vaccines anymore. They took that out years ago!” This is not true.  For a list of vaccines that still contain mercury above EPA safety levels click here.
    Seven vaccines are reported to still contain thimerosal, which is 49.5% mercury.

    At almost the exact same time they took a large percentage of mercury out of what was then the childhood schedule, the CDC and ACIP made a new recommendation. That’s right they ADDED MORE. The vaccine-pushers recommended every pregnant woman receive a flu shot during the second trimester.  In addition, the recommendation was made that every child receive annual flu vaccines, beginning at six months of age.

    Flu vaccines often contain high levels of thimerosal, which is 50% mercury. Those pregnant mothers and infants who are most likely to get the flu vaccines with mercury are those who are the least likely to have adequate health care. Physicians in private practices are more likely to use single-dose vials.  It’s the multi-dose vials that contain the highest level of Thimerosal:  50 mcg. for the adult dose and 25 mcg. for the pediatric dose.  That means when a pregnant woman gets a flu shot from her local health department, Walmart, CVS, University Health Center, etc… her tiny fetus is being injected with levels of toxic mercury that are hundreds of times above the “safe limit”  (as defined by the EPA).

    If the fetus survives and if he/she is vaccinated again at six months, 18 months and every year after that, and if those vaccines are administered from multi-dose vials, he or she is getting a whopping dose of mercury every year.

    Myth dispelled.  There is still mercury in the vaccines given to infants and children.  They just changed the schedule and adjusted the dose so that now, infants are getting their doses of mercury at a much earlier stage of neurological development, and when their body weight is significantly lower, which makes the dose per pound much higher.

    NVIC’s VACCINE INGREDIENTS CALCULATOR Click on the link above.  Then Click where it says Use the VIC Now.

    Step 1:  Enter first name, weight, and age.  (For the purpose of this example I used “Terry,” 120 pounds, and age 16.)  Click “Select Vaccines” – up pops the CDC’s Recommended Vaccination Schedule for children age 7-18.  In the section for ages 13-18 (high school age), the recommended vaccines for a child on “the catch-up schedule” are:  Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap), Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), Meningococcal (MCV), Hepatitis B (HepB), Inactivated Polio Virus (IPV), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) and Varicella. Yearly Flu Vaccine is also recommended for 16 year-olds.  (Pneumococcal and Hepatitis A vaccines are recommended for certain “high risk groups,” which usually do not include 16 year-old girls living in the U.S.)

    Click on these vaccines:  Dtap, HPV, MCV, HepB, IPV, MMR, and Varicella. (all the green ones and the yellow one). Then click “I’m Finished.”

    Step 2:  Vaccine Selection:

    • Tdap:  Select either of the first two choices. The others do not contain the pertussis component, so it’s highly unlikely that these girls would have gotten them. For the purpose of this example, Terry is going to get Boostrix.
    • HPV:  Terry is getting Gardasil.
    • Meningococcal (MCV):  Hover over each of the choices on this one… You will see that they are quite different in their ingredients, depending on if the vaccine is a single-dose vs. a multi-dose vial.  My fictitious 16 year-old Terry is going to get her shots at the health department so she will be getting the MCV from a mult-dose vial. I’m going to click Menomume multi-dose.
    • Seasonal/H1N1:  Again, since Terry is getting her shots at the health department she will be getting the multi-dose version of Fluzone from Sanofi-Pasteur.  Multi-dose vials of the flu vaccine are generally used by health departments. They are also used at “Flu Clinics” and places like Walmart and CVS where lots of people are vaccinated for a low cost (or for free) because multi-dose vials cut down on costs to the vaccinators.
    • Hepatitis B:  On this one it really doesn’t matter which you choose because they contain the same amount of aluminum and they each contain the same amount of yeast protein. Click either one. Terry is getting the Recombivax HB – from Merck.
    • Polio:  Click IPOL. This is the only one that is licensed for 16 year-olds.  You might want to hover your mouse over the other options, though. Especially if you have younger children. Check out the aluminum in those vaccines!
    • MMR II:  Again, this is the only option. Click it.

    Now, click the “CALCULATE” button.  Click “OK” in the black box that pops up.

    Step 3:  Vaccine Ingredients Chart:  This tells you how much of each ingredient (other than the actual virus or bacteria the vaccine is supposed to protect against) your child, or in this case, our hypothetical 16 year-old “Terry” will receive from this recommended schedule.

    • Aluminum:  865 micrograms (mcg)
    • Bovine Protein:  Unknown amount. This is a protected trade secret. You’re not allowed to know how much cow DNA is being injected into your kids.
    • Egg Protein:  Unknown amount. Another trade secret.
    • Formaldehyde (you know… like in embalming fluid):  200+ mcg
    • Genetically Engineered Human Albumin:  300 mcg
    • Human Protein from Fetal Cell Line WI-38:  Unkown amount. You guessed it… trade secret. And yes, this comes from an aborted human fetus.
    • Human Protein from Fetal Cell Line Wistar RA 27/:  Ditto to above.
    • Mercury:  50 mcg. (Note the small green bar on the right. That’s the EPA “safe” limit for mercury.)
    • Phenoxyethanol:  Just slightly less than 6 milligrams or 600 micrograms
    • Polysorbate 80:  500 mcg.
    • Yeast Protein:  Unknown amount. Trade secret.

    That’s a lot of stuff. I could talk for days (I’m sure by now you believe me) on the synergistic effects of toxins. However, for the purpose of this post, we’re going to stick to aluminum.  For now, anyway.  Our hypothetical 16 year-old would have received 865 micrograms of aluminum PLUS 50 micrograms of thimerosal if she had received all of these recommended vaccines according to “The Schedule.”

    Now that it’s official and we know that aluminum in vaccines causes autoimmune disease, my hope is that you will use the information in this article to become informed consumers of health care.  My other hope is that you will begin to ask questions about why it has taken so long for us to ask if injecting known neurotoxins into the bodies of infants and children is safe?

    And NO.  That’s not moving the goalpost.  It’s what should have been done in the first place.  It should not be up to people “like me” to have to investigate and publish these things.  Proving that vaccines are safe and that they are not more likely to make you sick than to provide you with protective benefit is something that should be done before the vaccines are released.  It should most certainly be done before vaccines are “mandated” for attendance in public school.

    Educate before you vaccinate.  Afterwards, it may be too late.

    HFI: We are not as surprised as the doctor’s in Seattle in the fact the food can be healing. Here is an example of another child whose symptoms were treated but her body needed diet changes to allow her to heal.


    Can diet alone be used to treat Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis (UC)? It’s a question Dr. David Suskind, a gastroenterologist at Seattle Children’s, has been researching for years.

    Today, he finally has the answer: yes.

    In a first-of-its-kind-study led by Suskind, published today in the Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology, diet alone was shown to bring pediatric patients with active Crohn’s and UC into clinical remission.

    “This changes the paradigm for how we may choose to treat children with inflammatory bowel disease,” said Suskind.

    In the small, prospective study, patients were put on a special diet called the specific carbohydrate diet (SCD) for 12 weeks as the sole intervention to treat their Crohn’s or UC. SCD is a nutritionally balanced diet that removes grains, dairy, processed foods and sugars, except for honey. The diet promotes only natural, nutrient-rich foods, which includes vegetables, fruits, meats and nuts.

    At the end of the 12 weeks, eight out of the 10 patients who finished the study showed significant improvement and achieved remission from the dietary treatment alone.

    Place bones in a pot or a crockpot (high temperature), add apple cider vinegar and water, and let the mixture sit for 2-4 hours so the vinegar can leach the mineral out of the bones.

    Add more water if needed to cover the bones.

    Reduce to a low simmer, cover, and cook for 24-72 hours (if you’re not comfortable leaving the pot to simmer overnight, turn off the heat and let it sit overnight, then turn it back on and let simmer all day the next day)

    Let the broth cool and strain it, making sure all marrow is knocked out of the marrow bones and into the broth.
    Add sea salt to taste and drink the broth as is or store in fridge up to 5 to 7 days or freezer up to 6 months for use in soups or stews.

    4 quarts filtered water
    3 garlic cloves, halved
    3 tumeric pieces, halved
    1 onion, quartered
    Pepper, sea salt, and any other desired spices

    Method

    Place bones in a pot or a crockpot (high temperature), add apple cider vinegar and water, and let the mixture sit for 2-4 hours so the vinegar can leach the mineral out of the bones.
    Add more water if needed to cover the bones.
    Reduce to a low simmer, cover, and cook for 24-72 hours (if you’re not comfortable leaving the pot to simmer overnight, turn off the heat and let it sit overnight, then turn it back on and let simmer all day the next day)
    Let the broth cool and strain it, making sure all marrow is knocked out of the marrow bones and into the broth.
    Add sea salt to taste and drink the broth as is or store in fridge up to 5 to 7 days or freezer up to 6 months for use in soups or stews.

    Listening to the Wise Traditions podcast it was encouraging to hear this message repeated across the county as thousands of families are reaching out to find answers for health and healing for themselves and their children. At Health Freedom Idaho we work diligently to protect our liberty and freedom to access to a variety of health care options. Without choice, we have no opportunity to investigate the what will best for our individual family.  

    Natasha’s story ended up in the “Best of 2016” episode of the Wise Traditions podcast, where it is paired with the story of holistic doctor Dr. Tom Cowan and dairy farmer Charlotte Smith. Each of them, in their own way, basically gives the same message that Natasha gives: “If your mainstream doctor doesn’t have answers, look elsewhere.”
