    Health Freedom Idaho tracked several bills over the past two years with a direct impact on parental rights, health freedom and informed consent. Idaho remains number #1 for health freedom. We are thankful that our Legislators were open to listening to our concerns and many voted in favor of liberty. Due to the complexity of this legislation, the decision to vote for or against any bill will require more explanation that can be provided in this simple spreadsheet. We recommend you contact your legislator and ask WHY s/he voted the way they did on these bills. Taking time to communication with your legislator is the best way to preserve your liberty and allow that individual to better represent your family.

    2017 WINS

    (Failed) SB 1182 Re-defining child neglect to include parents who don’t follow conventional medical protocols “Faith-Healing Exemption”

    (Passed) HB 195 returns health care options to allow Chiropractors to administer IVs.

    (Failed) HB 91 tracking of vaccine status of ADULTS

    2018 WINS

    (Passed) H494 require providers inform parents that their child’s vaccination records will be entered into the tri-state database system. Most parents are not aware that the IRIS database exists and that they have the option to have their children’s confidential medical information expunged from the system by contacting the Health and Welfare Department after EACH doctor’s visit or school/daycare enrollment.

    (Failed) H577 CBD regulation requires a doctors note in order to purchase any products with CBD containing less than .3% THC. Since .3% or less THC is naturally occurring in hemp products this could limit ability to purchase for Idaho citizens.These interchangeable terms, “THC free”, “Contains trace amounts of THC”, “non detectable” or “negligible levels” all means that the product contains .3% or less THC. THC is difficult to measure after a product is made as it is measured in dry weight before hand. Read all the related CBD oil research articles by HFI. *HFI stood alone against this legislation and its unintended consequences of reducing liberty. Many legislators voted in favor of this bill with the misinformed understanding that it would expand health freedom.

    2018 Loss

    (Passed) H393 The State formed a commission to comply with the ACA’s vaccination requirements it was due to expire. The Immunization Assessment Board whose express purpose is the promotion of a corporation’s product, and also form an insurance assessment board for forcing insurance companies to purchase large lots of the corporation’s products to target a specific age group of Idaho’s citizens. It was due to expire, but was extended with the passage of this legislation. Vaccinations are available through a federal program, funds spent by this commission are wasted on vaccines purchased, unused and expired. Its an unfortunate waste of tax payer money.

    31 scientists have determined that cell towers could contribute to an increased risk of brain cancer. Electromagnetic waves cause sleep problems, tinnitus, chronic fatigue, headaches, concentration, memory, learning and immune system problems, heart palpitations. nausea, joint pain, swelling of face, neck, eye problems, rashes, and cancer in some individuals. With increase exposure, you or your children could suffer these symptoms as your body deteriorates under the constant barge of wireless radiation. We can not eliminate exposure to wi-fi. But it can be reduced and we should take responsibility to see that it is NOT increased.

    Safety Concerns

    A 2011 article in IEEE Spectrum says that for the World Heath Organization, a working group of 31 scientists from 14 countries reviewed the latest research and classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields — from any source — as Group 2B, “possibly carcinogenic to humans based on an increased risk for glioma, a malignant type of brain cancer.” (source) Citing Studies completed from 2011 to 2018, Dr. Lennart Hardell and other members from that committee are calling to change RF Microwave radiation to Group 1 — a definite human carcinogen.

    Sensitivity Concerns

    Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS) is the medical term for a set of health symptoms whose cause is electrically based. It is also called Electrical Sensitivity (ES), EMF injured, Microwave or Radiation Sickness, and other names. Vested industry interests are trying to control the public’s perception of EHS on Wikipedia by calling EHS pseudoscience, which is false, and harmful to people and the doctors trying to help them. We are electromagnetic beings, and we are affected by electricity in our environment. The increasing saturation of wireless radiation (cell towers, cell and cordless phones, wi-fi and smart meters) pollutes our air and living environments. In order to maintain health and wellness prudent avoidance of EMF’s is advised.

    EHS Symptoms can vary with each person, depending on: the strength, type and length of EMF exposure; exposure to other environmental toxins; individual constitution; and basic health practices.   • Vaccine Manufacturer Accused of Fraud in 2 Landmark Cases

    Vaccine Manufacturer Accused of Fraud in 2 Landmark Cases

    Pharmaceutical giant and major vaccine producer, Merck, is facing charges of fraud in lawsuits filed in U.S. courts regarding their vaccine products. There are currently two major federal lawsuits against Merck that are being litigated in U.S. courts: a whistleblower lawsuit from former Merck scientists claiming fraud regarding the MMR vaccine, and a lawsuit against the Gardasil vaccine claiming fraud from a 16-year-old girl who allegedly suffered Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) after receiving the Gardasil vaccine.

    This is important information for the public to know, given the fact that the ever-growing vaccine market is expected to exceed $70 billion within the next few years, and that many states are trying to pass legislation to mandate vaccines without informed consent, all in the name of “the greater good” for public health.

    Federal government agencies tasked with protecting public health, along with the corporate “mainstream” media, which reportedly receives up to 70% of its advertising revenue from pharmaceutical companies, continue to censor any negative information regarding vaccines that could affect sales.

    And since one cannot sue a pharmaceutical company for damages or deaths due to vaccines in the United States, where they enjoy legal immunity, it is rare that a pharmaceutical company faces a day in court related to corruption or fraud for bad vaccine products.

    8 Years of Litigation for MMR Vaccine Fraud

    In a lawsuit against Merck that was originally filed in 2010, and continues to this day, Stephen Krahling and Joan Wlochowski, former Merck virologists, claim that they “witnessed firsthand the improper testing and data falsification in which Merck engaged to artificially inflate the (MMR) vaccine’s efficacy findings.”

    • Merck knowingly falsified its mumps vaccine test results to fabricate a “95% efficacy rate.”

    • In order to do this, Merck spiked the blood test with animal antibodies in order to artificially inflate the appearance of immune system antibodies. As reported in CourthouseNews.com:

    Merck also added animal antibodies to blood samples to achieve more favorable test results, though it knew that the human immune system would never produce such antibodies, and that the antibodies created a laboratory testing scenario that “did not in any way correspond to, correlate with, or represent real life … virus neutralization in vaccinated people,” according to the complaint.     Mumps outbreaks from 2015 to present reflect that more than 80% of the individuals in the US contracting mumps had both ‘recommended doses’ of the MMR vaccine. Defying COMMON SENSE, health departments are considering recommending a THIRD DOSE of the ineffective vaccine.
    This begs the question, WHO BENEFITS from the additional shot of vaccine that doesn’t work?

    “As the largest single purchaser of childhood vaccines (accounting for more than 50 percent of all vaccine purchases), the United States is by far the largest financial victim of Merck’s fraud,” according to the 2010 False Claims Act complaint.

    “But the ultimate victims here are the millions of children who every year are being injected with a mumps vaccine that is not providing them with an adequate level of protection.

    And while this is a disease that, according to the Centers for Disease Control (‘CDC’), was supposed to be eradicated by now, the failure in Merck’s vaccine has allowed this disease to linger, with significant outbreaks continuing to occur.” (Source.)

    Merck has tried, unsuccessfully, to end this case for almost eight years now, in an attempt to hide it from the American public.

    On September 4, 2014, Judge Jones ruled that the case should proceed based on merit. (Source.)

    Still trying to keep this case out of the eye of the public, Merck attorneys did not give up in their attempts to keep this out of the courts and the eye of the public. They filed a motion for “Summary Judgment,” but on October 27, 2017, the court granted the whistle-blowers their “Motion to Stay,” so that the case would proceed.

    There are, as of the date of publication of this article, 164 entries into the court docket for this case during an eight year period, as the attorneys for Merck do their best to stall and try to end it. (Source.)

    The significance of this case, of course, is enormous, beyond measure, as it does NOT primarily deal with the issue of vaccine safety, something the U.S. Government concedes with the federal vaccine court which has paid out billions of dollars in compensation (see quarterly reports from the DOJ here), but with the efficacy of the MMR vaccine.

    If the vaccine does not even prevent the diseases it is supposed to, how can it be mandated by the CDC to be given to children?

    Case #2:

    Merck Accused of Fraud, Deceit and Negligence in US Gardasil Case

    According to the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) VigiAccess database, as of April 09, 2018, a total of 85,329 reports of adverse reactions have been filed regarding the HPV vaccination. These reports include 37,699 reports of nervous system disorders; 2450 cardiac disorders, (including 38 cardiac arrests) 533 reports of Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS); over 3200 reports of seizures or epilepsy, 8453 syncope and 389 deaths.

    In July 2016, a case was filed in the Superior Court of the State of California, Los Angeles County (central district). The case involved a 16-year-old female who between 2010 and 2011 received three injections of Gardasil, the HPV vaccination manufactured by Merck. Shortly after she received her third vaccination, she suffered a severe adverse reaction, the nature and complexity of which, failed to be diagnosed until 2015, when she finally received the diagnosis of Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).

    For those of you who are unaware, Postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS) is an abnormal response of your body when you are upright (usually when standing). It is caused by a problem with the nervous system which controls the autonomic functions in the body. This part of the nervous system is called the autonomic nervous system.

    The symptoms of POTS occur when you are upright and are relieved when lying down. These symptoms are associated with an abnormally high and persistent increase in heart rate within ten minutes of standing.

    If this diagnosis was not devastating enough for this young lady and her family, in 2016, she was further diagnosed with an underlying small fiber neuropathy, existing within and throughout her body.

    Her family firmly now believe that the vaccinations caused her illness because prior to receiving the HPV vaccination, she was physically active, and had not only participated in her high school basketball team but had also engaged in other athletic activities.

    It is for this reason, that the family decided to file a case against the manufacturer of the vaccine, Merck, accusing them of:

    1. Fraud and Deceit

    2. Negligent Misrepresentation

    3. Defective Product – Inadequate warnings & information

    4. Medical Malpractice

    5. Medical Battery

    As you can see these charges are extremely serious and if won, this case would set a precedent for similar cases to be brought against the manufacturer of this vaccine in the future.

    10 Holistic Tips for a Good Night’s Sleep

    Sleep is the time each night when the body repairs, heals and restores. If you’re not getting enough, it can put you at risk for all sorts of various health issues including: heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid issues, depression, adrenal fatigue, etc.

    We’ve all heard the usual tips like, limit caffeine and alcohol, exercise regularly, etc., so today we’re going to avoid the common tips and look at some of the root causes as to why you aren’t sleeping well.

    Here are 10 Holistic Tips for a Good Night’s Sleep:

    1. If you tend to get a second wind at the end of the day, or when you lie down you can’t sleep, eat a small snack such as a piece of raw cheese or spoonful of almond butter right before bed. A second wind, or not being able to go to sleep, is usually due to high cortisol levels, so if you eat something, this can help drive those cortisol levels back down.

    2. If you wake up in the middle of the night and you can’t fall back asleep, again, eat a small snack such as a piece of raw cheese or spoonful of almond butter.
    Why are you waking up? This tends to happen when blood sugar levels get too low when you’re sleeping which triggers the adrenals to send out cortisol into the bloodstream. When you eat a small snack, this will help drive the cortisol levels back down so you can sleep. Click here to read more about adrenal health.

    3. Before you go to bed, rub 1 drop of Cedarwood and 1 drop of Lavender on the bottoms of your feet and then diffuse the same oils in your bedroom. These are amazing essential oils!

    4. Turn off your Wi-Fi and put your phone in another room, or at least put it in airplane mode to reduce electromagnetic fields (EMFs). Man-made electromagnetic radiation can cause sleep issues so it’s a good idea to take simple steps to reduce your exposure. You can put a timer on your Wi-Fi, so that it turns off when you’re sleeping. If you absolutely have to sleep with your phone in your room, make sure it’s on airplane mode.

    5. Do you wake up in the middle of the night because you need to go to the restroom? This is a sign of blood sugar imbalance, so take steps to reduce your sugar intake. Make these buttermints to curb cravings and your sleep should become much more restful and void of any midnight bathroom trips.

    6. Do you wake up sweating or nervous? This is usually rooted in adrenal fatigue, so read this article and see which steps you can start taking today to calm your adrenals.

    7. Make sure you’re getting enough magnesium. Magnesium is calming for the central nervous system and helps us rest, but many of us are deficient. This deficiency is most often caused by too much stress or being in a fight-or-flight mode too often. When we are stressed, the first mineral the body burns through is magnesium, so this explains why so many of us need more of this important mineral!     So, make sure you’re getting plenty of Vitamin A from animal foods such as eggs, grass-fed meats, organ meats, cultured dairy, etc.

    9. Use essential oils such as Lavender, Frankincense, Wild Orange, etc. throughout the day to reduce your stress. Stress plays a big role in blood sugar balance and, as I mentioned in #2 and #6, blood sugar balance plays a role in how well we sleep each night. If you haven’t given essential oils a try, you really must. I was skeptical for so many years and then when I learned how to properly use them, they were a game changer!

    10. Lastly, evaluate your bedroom conditions. Are you sleeping on a supportive mattress? If not, consider finding a new non-toxic and supportive mattress. Is the room dark? If not, consider blackout shades for your windows, or unplugging electronics in the room. Is the room too hot or too cold? A small fan or hot water bottle can make all the difference!

    Forget everything you think you know about vegetables and let me tell you what happens when you culture them. Grow your own probiotics in a jar of vegetables, and you’ll be shocked and amazed at all they can do. I feel like I’ve been standing on the top of a mountain singing the praises of cultured vegetables for fifteen years and some have listened and others not, but I knew one day there would be a tipping point and that day is almost here.     Saving thousands of infants

    There was a new study done 1 on the special probiotic Lactobacillus plantarum (L. plantarum). These probiotics are made abundant when you culture your veggies. It has an impact on saving thousands of infants from sepsis, which is often a deadly massive immune response to bacterial infection that gets into the blood. Six hundred thousand infants die annually from sepsis, primarily in developing countries, and researchers have been trying to find a way to stop it for the last twenty years. Dr. Pinaki Panigrahi, a pediatrician at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health who led the study, was searching for answers.They screened 280 bacteria strains until one day they found the healthy strain Lactobacillus plantarum isolated in the diaper of a healthy Indian baby. They started giving infants Lactobacillus plantarum, the kind of lactic acid bacteria found in fermented vegetables and found in my veggies starter culture Cutting Edge Culture. They also added the prebiotic fructooligosaccharide (in Prebio Plus) “to promote growth and sustain colonization of the probiotic strain.” After one week of giving the babies the cocktail of pro- and prebiotics, deaths and sepsis dropped by 40 percent, from 9 to 5.4 percent. 2

    Respiratory infections dropped

    But something else happened that they didn’t expect. The probiotics also began to help with other types of infections, including those in the lungs. Respiratory infections dropped by about 30 percent. “That was a big surprise, because we didn’t think gut bacteria were going to work in a distant organ like the lung,” Panigrahi says. They actually stopped the trial prematurely since it was working so well. “We were planning to enroll 8,000 babies, but stopped at just over 4,000 infants,” Panigrahi says.

    Pascal Lavoie, a neonatologist at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, says, “These beneficial bacteria can push out harmful bacteria in the baby’s gut by changing the environment or simply using up resources. They also produce a compound that strengthens the wall of the intestine. It acts as a barrier to prevent the bad bacteria from going through the wall into the blood. The probiotic bacteria can jumpstart a baby’s immune system. Probiotics can be much more powerful than drugs.”

    Something you should know

    These veggies are powerful, but here is something you should know – this particular bacteria (L. plantarum) is a transient strain of bacteria, which means it doesn’t last more than a few days in the body, so you’re going to need to consume them often.     Nutritionist help son fight for his life against cancer using detox remedies beneficial for every child

    My son was diagnosed with cancer, in California you HAVE treat your child with chemo or CPS will take your child away and forcibly administer chemo while your child lives with strangers. Most pediatric cancer patients die from treatment, not from the disease. In fact, it’s very rare that a child dies from cancer alone, they most often die from opportunist infections. These infections present themselves due to a severely weakened immune system, induced by the harsh and toxic treatments like chemotherapy, radiation, prophylactic antibiotics and steroids, etc.

    It seems obvious to me that one of the most important parts of treating cancer should be detoxing the body. In addition to the toxic chemotherapy drugs that are pumped into these tiny little bodies on a regular basis, breaking down a tumor with chemo releases dead tumor waste that’s extremely toxic to the body and needs to be eliminated. I’ve yet to meet an Oncologist who advises their patients to detox the dead cancer cells out. It makes sense to me that this could be a reason many cancers come back. Our bodies have the ability to naturally detox through urine, waste and sweat but that’s not nearly enough to push the toxic medications and dead cancer cells out.

    I’ve taken matters into my own hands and my son has not experienced any side effects from the 100+ doses of chemotherapy he’s received. I hope you’ll benefit from learning what we’ve done to support his body. Aside from following a ketogenic diet, and implementing a therapeutic protocol for immune support, we’ve done four detox therapies for him.

    1. Castor Oil Pack Detox

    The castor oil pack is specifically for detox. In my experience, it’s very effective when dealing with non-cancerous uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts. Other conditions which seem to respond well include headaches, liver disorders, constipation, intestinal disorders, gallbladder inflammation or stones, conditions with poor elimination, nighttime urinary frequency, and inflamed joints. My son holds the castor oil pack against his liver for at least 20 minutes (the length of a cartoon) and does this five nights a week.

    Some details should you and your medical professional decide to use castor oil packs:

    It’s not to be used during pregnancy, heavy menstrual flow, or the presence of internal bleeding. Click here to read the procedure and the supplies needed.

    You may fall asleep and wear the pack all night if needed. If using a heating pad, unplug it before falling asleep.

    For maximum effectiveness, apply the pack as often as possible – at least four consecutive days per week for at least 4-6 weeks.
    Daily use provides the most beneficial effects.

    2. Detox Bath with Epsom Salt and Baking Soda

    The sulfates in Epsom salt help flush toxins and heavy metals from the cells, easing muscle pain and helping the body to eliminate harmful substances. Your skin is a highly porous membrane – adding the right minerals to your bathwater triggers a process called reverse osmosis, which actually pulls salt out of your body, and harmful toxins along with it. The baking soda helps rid the body of chemicals from food, drugs, radiation exposure, etc.

    We do these baths at least 4 days week.

    Materials we use for one bath:

    2 cups Epsom salt
    2 cups baking soda (aluminum free)

    Procedure we use:
    Add salt and baking soda to a very warm bath and let dissolve for five minutes.

    3. Green Juice
    This green juice is important to our detoxification routine. It assists in the rapid removal of metabolic wastes from the body and the rebuilding of damaged tissues. Juicing helps clear the kidneys of toxins and contribute to the proper digestion of food.

    My son drinks this juice at least 4-6 days a week.

    Green juice consists of the following:

    1 apple (to sweeten)
    1 orange
    2 stalks of celery
    1 cucumber
    1 carrot
    1 bunch of parsley
    1 bunch cilantro
    8 beet greens
    1 red bell pepper
    1 green cabbage
    1 lemon
    1/2 bulb of ginger

    It’s very important that the produce in the juice is all organically grown. I don’t recommend powdered greens as most of them have been preserved and are not in their most nutrient-dense state.

    Spinach Jumps to 2nd on list of Most Pesticide Laden Produce

    Spinach is packed with nutrients, making it a staple for healthy eating during the winter and spring. But federal data shows that conventionally grown spinach has more pesticide residues by weight than all other produce tested, with three-fourths of samples tested contaminated with a neurotoxic bug killer that is banned from use on food crops in Europe.     Based on the USDA tests, EWG’s Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce™ ranks spinach second on the Dirty Dozen™ list of fruits and vegetables with the most pesticides – a significant jump from its previous rank of eighth.

    Seventy-six percent of the samples contained residues of permethrin, a neurotoxic insecticide. At high doses, permethrin overwhelms the nervous system and causes tremors and seizures.

    But several studies also find a link between lower-level exposure to permethrin-type insecticides and neurological effects in children. In one study, children with detectable permethrin residues in their urine were twice as likely to be diagnosed with ADHD as children with non-detectable levels of the pesticide.

    Fortunately, spinach is EASY to grow and as a cool weather crop is PERFECT to put into the ground now – April.
    According to Gardening with Charlie the steps are simple and the results plentiful.

    When to Plant

    Spinach needs cool temperatures to grow and mature. It’s best planted as a spring or fall crop. Plant in spring 6 weeks before your last frost date, usually April. Spinach seeds can germinate with temperatures around 40F, so once the ground is dried out, start seeding. Continue planting small patches every 2 weeks until late spring to insure a continuous harvest.

    Where to Plant

    Spinach will grow with as little as a few hours of full sun, but forms the biggest leaves and plants in full sun. Since you’re planting so early, plant spinach on a bed raised 8 inches tall and 3 feet wide. The soil will dry out and warm up faster on the raised bed, allowing for faster germination and growth.

    How to Plant

    Amend the raised bed with compost before planting. Soak seeds overnight in warm water to start germination. The next day plant seeds 1 inch apart in rows spaced 12 inches apart. You can also broadcast seeds on top of the bed.

    Care and Maintenance

    Thin spinach seedlings to 6 inches apart when they’re 3 inches tall. Thinning helps the plants grow large and reduces the amount of diseases such as rust on the plants, by giving the plant more room to grow. Use the thinned seedlings in salads. Keep the soil cool and moist by watering regularly and mulching with a layer of an organic mulch, such as straw or untreated grass clippings, after thinning. If the young leaves are pale green or yellow colored, spray the plants with fish emulsion fertilizer. This quick reacting organic fertilizer will add nitrogen to help green up the leaves.
