  • What’s in Your Drinking Water?

When most Americans drink a glass of tap water, they’re also getting a dose of industrial or agricultural contaminants linked to cancer, brain and nervous system damage, developmental defects, fertility problems or hormone disruption. That’s the disturbing truth documented by EWG’s Tap Water Database – the most complete source available on the quality of U.S. drinking water, aggregating and analyzing data from almost 50,000 public water utilities nationwide.
What’s in YOUR WATER Idaho ?
Idaho water systems added fluoride is approved of by City Councils. More than 35% of Idaho’s citizens are drinking fluoride contaminated water. A simple request from the city council could change that.

  • Coconut Oil Kills!

Formerly unheard of, coconut oil is becoming more of a staple cooking oil in many households. Manufacturers are using coconut oil in favor of other oils in packaged products, and there are claims that coconut oil can do everything from supporting weight loss to slowing the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. Nevertheless, many organizations such as the American Heart Association and the USDA continue to caution consumers against all tropical oils, including coconut oil.

Recently the American Heart Association announced that coconut oil is bad for your heart. In this video I dissect exactly why this is all of a sudden the case.

  • Dirty Dairy Ben and Jerry’s

The Vermont brand has been built on a bucolic image of cows grazing on endless pastures . . . Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and other Vermont companies have used this idyllic imagery to sell their products. Gone are the days, however, when most of Vermont’s cows were grazing in spectacularly scenic landscapes. Now a majority of Vermont’s cows are locked up in . . . ‘confined animal feeding operations’ or CAFOs . . . grazing on concrete with a diet rich in GMO corn and pesticides. – “Vermont’s GMO Addiction: Pesticides, Polluted Water and Climate Destruction,” Regeneration Vermont

The most important thing we can do today as conscious consumers, farmers and food workers is to regenerate public health, the environment and climate stability. We can do this most readily by moving away from industrial, GMO and factory-farm food toward an organic, pasture-based, soil-regenerative, humane, carbon-sequestering and climate-friendly agriculture system.

What’s standing in the way of this life-or-death transformation? Rampant greenwashing. The proliferation of $90 billion worth of fraudulently labeled or advertised “natural” and “socially responsible” food products in the U.S. confuses even the most well-intentioned of consumers and lures them away from purchasing genuine organic or grass-fed products.

Perhaps no company personifies greenwashing more than Vermont-based Ben & Jerry’s.  Ben & Jerry’s history—a start-up launched by two affable hippies, from a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vt., —is legendary. Despite selling out to Unilever in April 2000, the brand’s handlers have preserved its quirky, homespun image, and masterfully convinced consumers that Ben & Jerry’s has never strayed from its mission: “to make the world a better place.”

As the New York Times reports, the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) recently sent samples of Ben and Jerry’s top-selling ice cream brands to an independent testing lab for analysis. Ten out of 11 samples tested positive for Roundup (glyphosate and AMPA) herbicide contamination

So much for making the world a better place.

Compare the Ben & Jerry’s test results with the results of our testing of organic brands, brands that use organic milk from farms that are actually making the world a better place. Three out of four nationally distributed organic ice cream brands tested negative for Roundup contamination (only Whole Foods “365” brand was contaminated).

A history of stalling on organic

Twenty-four years ago, anti-GMO food activists, including the Pure Food Campaign (OCA’s predecessor), successfully pressured Ben & Jerry’s and a number of other leading dairies to prohibit the use of America’s first genetically engineered food product, Monsanto’s recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH). Now marketed by drug giant Elanco (Eli Lilly), rBGH is linked to increased risk of human breast and colon cancer, a greater use of antibiotics in animal feed, and damage to cow’s health.

Several groups, including the OCA, subsequently asked Ben & Jerry’s to move beyond just prohibiting their dairy cows from being injected with rBGH. We asked them to go 100 percent organic, which would have required the company to ban its dairy suppliers from feeding their cows GMO corn and grain, and to use only organic ingredients in its flavors. But even before Ben & Jerry’s was bought out by Unilever, company founder Ben Cohen told Vermont Food activist Michael Colby “that Ben & Jerry’s was not going to transition to organic because it wouldn’t allow them to ‘maximize profits.’ “

Since 1994, Ben & Jerry’s, the $1.5-billion-per-year flagship brand of the second-largest multinational food corporation in the world, Unilever (annual sales $60 billion), has cashed in big time on its “rBGH-free” policy, advertising its brand, over and over again, as “all natural,” “GMO-free,” “fair trade,” “climate-just,” and “socially responsible.”

Despite repeated calls from consumer groups to stop advertising its ice-cream as “natural” or “all natural,” given that it is derived from cows raised almost exclusively on GMO corn forage (grown with Roundup Ready, neonic-, and BT-spliced seeds), laced with non-organic ingredients, sprayed heavily with Roundup and other pesticides, Ben & Jerry’s continues to greenwash and lie. The company recently (June 18, 2017) described its mission as:

To make, distribute and sell the finest quality and euphoric concoctions with a continued commitment to incorporating wholesome, ingredients and promoting business practices that respect the Earth and the Environment.

After more than a decade of dodging consumer, farmer, animal welfare, environmental and farmworker pleas to stop greenwashing and to equitably source its milk from cows grazing on organic pasture, Ben & Jerry’s continues to stall. Instead, Ben & Jerry’s sources its milk from St. Alban’s, a 400-farmer dairy co-op that is increasingly dominated by large factory farm-type dairy operations. To feed their cows, farmers routinely spray tons of pesticides, including Roundup, atrazine and metolachlor, on fields of GMO corn grown from neonic-coated and BT toxin seeds. They also apply tons of soil-killing, climate-disrupting nitrogen fertilizers that pollute Vermont’s streams, rivers and lakes.

Petitions and protests calling for Ben & Jerry’s to stop its suppliers from exploiting farmworkers, confining dairy cows and driving small dairy farmers into bankruptcy, have produced nothing more than vague promises of “respecting the Earth” and supporting rural economic justice.

Enough is enough. Vermont and national public interest organizations have lost our patience. It’s time for Unilever and Ben & Jerry’s to move beyond greenwashing to decisive action. It’s time for Ben & Jerry’s to announce it will immediately begin transitioning to 100-percent organic. Otherwise conscious consumers have no choice but to launch a national and, if necessary, international protest campaign and boycott.

Vermont activists demand major changes from Ben and Jerry’s

Regeneration Vermont, a broad-based coalition of consumers and farmers, has repeatedly asked Ben & Jerry’s and Unilever to sign a six-point pledge to go 100-percent organic over a three-year transition period. Here’s what the groups want Ben & Jerry’s to pledge:

    1. A transition away from GMO crops and toxic pesticides/fertilizers and toward regenerative organic agricultural methods.
    2. Fair wages for farmers, including premiums based on regeneration benchmarks and assistance in the transition toward regenerative methods.
    3. Economic justice for farm workers, fair and livable wages, decent housing and social and cultural dignity.
    4. Adoption of climate remediation techniques, beginning with an emphasis on healthy soils and cover-cropping for carbon sequestration and erosion control.
    5. Humane treatment of farm animals, a phase-out of confinement dairies and a transition back to grassland grazing and grass-based feed for ruminants.
    6. Cleaning up and protecting our watersheds, streams, rivers, ponds, lakes, and groundwater.

    A trail of toxins

Recent reports published by Regeneration Vermont reveal that Ben & Jerry’s suppliers, and Vermont and U.S. (non-organic) dairy farmers in general, have gone backward, rather than forward over the past 15 years in terms of environmental sustainability, food safety, nutrition, greenhouse gas pollution, water pollution, animal welfare, farmworker justice, and preservation of family farms.

Chemical fertilizer use has also almost doubled in Vermont since GMOs began to dominate the market 15 years ago.

So much for Monsanto’s claims that GMO crops would reduce the use of toxic pesticides and water- polluting and climate-destabilizing nitrogen fertilizers. Not to mention Ben & Jerry’s claim that it is “non-GMO” and “environmentally responsible.”

Among Regeneration Vermont’s finding are the following:

    • An astounding 97 percent of Vermont’s field corn, the major component of a non-organic dairy cow’s diet, is now GMO (Roundup Ready, Bt-spliced, neonic seeds). This is the highest percentage of any state in the U.S.

    • Herbicide use has increased over 100 percent-per-acre in Vermont since Monsanto’s GMO corn came on the market, with recent heavy use of atrazine, metholachlor, simazine, pendimethlin, glyphosate (Roundup), acetochlor, dicamba, and alachlor.

As Regeneration Vermont states in its report:

Regulators have determined that five of these eight most used herbicides [in Vermont] are possible or probable human carcinogens, the remaining three are suspected carcinogens. Seven of the eight are possible or probable endocrine disruptors (the other one is a suspected to be an endocrine disruptor). All eight have been determined by regulators and academics to cause birth or developmental defects and contaminate drinking water and public waters with dangerous chemicals that have long-term persistence. Atrazine, simazine, acetachlor, and alachlor have lost their registration in the EU, and are effectively banned.

The threat of #DirtyDairy and factory farms

Millions of health-minded Americans, especially parents of young children, now understand that cheap, non-organic, genetically engineered, industrial and factory farm food is hazardous. Not only does chemical- and energy-intensive factory farming destroy the environment, destabilize the climate, impoverish rural communities, exploit farm workers, inflict unnecessary cruelty on farm animals, and contaminate the water supply, but the end product itself is inevitably contaminated and inferior in nutritional terms, in this case in comparison to 100% grass-fed and organic milk and dairy.

America’s green-minded consumers understand that industrial agriculture poses a terminal threat to the environment and climate stability. A highly conscious and passionate segment of the population is beginning to understand that converting to non-chemical, non-genetically engineered, energy-efficient, carbon-sequestering organic/regenerative farming practices, and drastically reducing food miles by re-localizing the food chain, are essential preconditions for stabilizing our out-of-control climate and preparing our families and communities for future energy and resource shortages.

A critical mass of the global grassroots—consumers, farmers, activists—now realize that unless we act quickly, global warming and climate chaos will soon severely disrupt industrial agriculture and long-distance food transportation, leading to massive crop failures, food shortages, famine, war, and pestilence. Even more alarming, accelerating levels of greenhouse gases will soon push global warming to a tipping point that will melt the polar icecaps and possibly unleash a cataclysmic discharge of climate-destabilizing methane, now sequestered in the fragile arctic tundra.

Thanks to this growing consumer awareness—and four decades of hard work—the organic community has built up a $50-billion “certified organic” and $5-billion 100% grass-fed food and products sector that prohibits the use of genetic engineering and pesticides. The rapidly expanding organic products sector now constitutes more than 5 percent of total retail grocery sales (and 15 percent of fruits and vegetables), with an annual growth rate of 10-15 percent.  Even taking into account a sluggish economy, the organic market, if we eliminate greenwashing and labeling fraud, could conceivably reach a “tipping point” of 20 percent of grocery sales in 2020.

The myth of “natural” remains a threat

As impressive as this $55 billion Organic and Grass-fed Alternative is, it remains overshadowed by an additional $90 billion in annual spending by consumers on products, such as B&J’s, fraudulently marketed as “natural,” “gmo-free,” “free range,” or “sustainable.”

Consumer surveys indicate that the overwhelming majority of Americans believe that “natural” products are “almost organic,” yet at the same time, much cheaper; the majority believes that “all natural” actually means that it is better than organics. Ben & Jerry’s is not the only brand greenwashing its products and impeding the growth of organic, 100% grass-fed and regenerative foods. But it is certainly among the most shameless.

In fact, all these “natural,” “all-natural” and “sustainable” products are neither backed up by rules and regulations, nor a third-party certifier. Most “natural” or conventional products—whether produce, dairy or canned or frozen goods—are produced on large industrial farms or in processing plants that are highly polluting, chemical-intensive and energy-intensive.

Perhaps fraudulently labeled “natural” foods such as Ben & Jerry’s wouldn’t matter so much if we were living in normal times, with a relatively healthy population, environment and climate. Conventional products sold as “natural” or “nearly organic” would be just one more example of chicanery or unethical business practices.

But we are not living in normal times.

Demanding that fake natural brands and producers, such as Ben & Jerry’s, make the transition to organic is a matter of life or death. We’re tired of pleading and politely asking Ben & Jerry’s, Unilever and other greenwashers to please change their ways. It’s time to step up the pressure. Please join the growing boycott of Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream by signing this petition and by volunteering to join a local campaign team in your local community.

  • West Nile Virus Idaho

State of Emergency declared so that Mosquito Abatement districts can pour down neurotoxic Naled chemical as mosquito control. There have been NO REPORTS of West Nile Virus from Idaho.
Naled is banned in other countries due to its health risk. About one million pounds are used annually in the U.S. Like all organophosphates, naled is toxic to the nervous system. Symptoms of exposure include headaches, nausea, and diarrhea.
Naled is more toxic when exposure occurs by breathing contaminated air than through other kinds of exposure. In laboratory tests, naled exposure caused increased aggressiveness and a deterioration of memory and learning.

Naled’s breakdown product DICHLORVOS (another organophosphate insecticide) interferes with prenatal brain development. In laboratory animals, exposure for just 3 days during pregnancy when the brain is growing quickly reduced brain size 15 percent.

DICHLORVOS also causes cancer, according to the International Agency for Research on Carcinogens. In laboratory tests, it caused leukemia and pancreatic cancer. Two independent studies have shown that children exposed to household “no-pest” strips containing dichlorvos have a higher incidence of brain cancer than unexposed children.

Aerial applications of naled can drift up to one-half mile. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, naled is moderately to highly toxic to birds and fish. It also reduced egg production and hatching success in tests with birds and reduced growth in tests with juvenile fish. convulsions, paralysis, and death.

  • Mosquito Spray 101

HFI: The Mosquito Abatement Districts got together and declared a ‘state of emergency’ giving them the opportunity to spray large populations in Boise and the surrounding areas with chemical insecticides Dibrom/Naled to ‘protect us’ from mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus. There is NO OUTBREAK of West Nile Virus even though we have an increase in mosquitos due to unusal flooding. In fact, the CDC reports ZERO cases of serious complications from west nile virus for the state. Considering that the spray they are using in these highly populated areas is BANNED in other countries due to its health risks. Its been proven that ariel spray is the LEAST EFFECTIVE MEANS to protect the population from mosquito borne diseases.

Raine, from HFI explains the issues further:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raTMmjTktGI

There are reports that have linked aerial spraying of insecticide for mosquitoes to autism. Check out this article from the Miami Herald about a doctor that is filing a lawsuit to stop mosquito spraying.

Two other sources, Science Daily and Newsweek discuss the connection between spraying for mosquitoes and autism. The results of this study, Published in Environmental Health Perspectives shows how exposure to several different types of insecticides are associated with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or developmental delay (DD) in the Childhood Autism Risks from Genetics and  Environment (CHARGE) study during pregnancy.

I urge everyone to go and check those out.

ABC News, West Nile Virus, a different opinion

    West Nile, a scam

John Rappaport, independent investigative reporter, talks about the lack of hysteria over many other diseases that cause more deaths than WNV

Here’s what the U.S. Health Works Medical Group has to say about WNV:

“How do you get the West Nile disease? Only one way, get bit by a mosquito that has the virus. The West Nile virus mostly lives in birds. Some mosquitoes bite birds and pick up the virus that way. Who knew mosquitoes bite birds? Seems like a suicidal food choice. If one of these mosquitoes actually manages to catch and bite the infected bird, and survive the experience, he now can bite you. As you would expect there are not exactly swarms of infected mosquitoes.

Now if one such infected mosquito manages to find you, you now have West Nile Virus. But you can’t give it to your family and friends. They have to find their own infected mosquito if they want the virus. In West Nile infected humans, the virus level is low enough that a mosquito biting you won’t likely get infected. So you can‘t pass it on, even with a mosquito’s help.”

  • Not-so-rare vaccine reactions, Tylenol and antibiotics

Watch this excellent video discussing vaccine-injuries, which are frequently regarded as “normal” or “nothing to worry about”. Vaccine-injuries, contrary to popular belief, are not “rare”. These reactions occur more than many people realize.

As consumers and patients, we have been taught to believe that vaccines are safe and don’t cause harm. When my son was young, he experienced some of the severe reactions described in this video after receiving vaccinations. The colorful paper I was given by the nurse at the doctor’s office did not discuss what to do if these symptoms occurred, and it was never mentioned to me as something to worry about. As a result, it was many years before I made that connection. I wish I had understood this sooner.

Pediatricians recommend Tylenol and many other over-the-counter drugs containing the active ingredient acetaminophen to “manage” fever and/or pain after vaccination. Tylenol can make matters worse as it prevents the body from detoxing and interferes with glutathione levels which allow for proper detox in the body. This inability to detox can lead to chronic health conditions including autism, as seen in this study from The Journal of International Medical Research

How much more at risk are children that take acetaminophen? Well, a 2008 study led by Stephen Schultz, PhD, a dentist who holds a PhD in public health epidemiology at the University of California at San Diego reveals that children taking acetaminophen after being vaccinated for measles, rubella and mumps (the MMR vaccine) cause a child’s risk of developing autism to be eight times higher than those given ibuprofen.

Children are also routinely given antibiotics to manage frequent infections, colds, earaches and flus. Antibiotics typically don’t solve the underlying problem and eliminate all bacteria (including friendly bacteria that is necessary for the body to fight infection). They also compromise the immune system’s ability to protect from future infections and illness.

These three treatments – vaccines, Tylenol, or Ibuprofen and antibiotics recommended and prescribed by pediatricians, are a “perfect storm” that can cause lasting damage to your child’s health. Please do your research and learn the risks before vaccinating or use these drugs.

What kinds of symptoms are associated with vaccine-injuries?

    Rash

    Arching back

    High fever

    Seizures

    Eczema

    Allergies

    Asthma

    Anaphylaxis

    High-pitched scream or cry

    Swelling at the vaccine site

    Interrupted or slowed breathing

    Itching or numbness in extremities

Disruption of facial or eye symmetry

Bacterial or viral infections (can be recurring or ongoing)

Behavior and mood changes, aggression, attention or focus deficit

Loss of communication (eye contact and speech, and most any kind of response)

Gastrointestinal symptoms including vomiting, diarrhea, bloating, constipation, pain

Is there any compensation for those who are vaccine-injured?

Back in the 1980s, the whooping cough vaccine in the DPT shot was responsible for brain inflammation and death in many children. The live oral polio vaccine was also crippling children and adults due to the vaccine-strain engineered polio included in this combination. U.S. citizens were pressing charges against pharmaceutical companies to make them accountable for the safety of their products.

In 1982, four drug companies (Merck, Wyeth, Lederle, Connaught) threatened to discontinue manufacturing vaccines in America unless a law was passed to protect these corporations from prosecution. The federal government then set up a compensation system for plaintiffs, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act in 1986.

In the 2011, the pharmaceutical companies were granted complete immunity from lawsuit by the U.S. federal government. Compensation for court cases, then, doesn’t come from the government nor the pharmaceutical companies. It comes from taxpayer dollars – people like you and me.

  • They just voted to be fluoride free!

    Latest Fluoride-Free Victories

    • Battlefield, Missouri (June 21)– The water district board voted unanimously to end fluoridation for the town of 6,000 due to corrosion caused by the chemical, and because of the availability of safer and more effective alternatives to reduce decay.  The dental lobby and regional health officials who have received grants to promote the practice have vowed to fight the vote, despite the significant health risks to residents, the water infrastructure, and water employees.
    • Nipawin, Saskatchewan (July 13)– After months of consideration and a presentation by public health administrators, the Mayor and Council in Nipawin, Saskatchewan (pop. 4,401) voted 4-1 to reject a proposal by the Saskatchewan medical health officer to fluoridate the drinking water. As one councilor said, “It’s not our job to supply medication.”  The Mayor also voted against the proposal because she felt the decision should be made by residents via a ballot referendum, not by councilors.
    • Johnstown, Pennsylvania (July 21)– The Greater Johnstown Water Authority voted unanimously (11-0) to end the addition of fluoridation chemicals to the drinking water.  The vote was influenced by significant opposition to the practice by water consumers, which was highlighted by the results of a customer survey on the issue in which 70% of respondents opposed fluoridation.

The Greater Johnstown Water Authority serves an estimated population of 52,657. In Cambria County: the City of Johnstown (19,712), Brownstown Borough (700), Dale Borough (1,160), Ferndale Borough (1,600), Lorain Borough (714), Westmont Borough (4,876), East Conemaugh Borough (1,145), Franklin Borough (300), Southmont Borough (2,150), Conemaugh Township (2,000), Middle Taylor Township (800), Stonycreek Township (2,000), Lower Yoder Township (2,500), Upper Yoder Township (5,000) and West Taylor (6,000).  Also included is Conemaugh Township in Somerset County (2,000).

2017 Chilean review: fluoridation is ineffective & harmful

A team of experts from Chile–including doctors, biologists, a lawyer, a civil engineer, a toxicologist, an environmental expert, and a chemist–have published a damning review of water fluoridation in the Medical Journal of Chile, February 2017.  The review was financed by the Medical College of Chile.

Chile is considered a pioneer in the fluoridation of drinking water, starting in 1953 when Curico was fluoridated.  By 1958, nearly 60% of the country was fluoridated, and constant expansion has led to a current rate of 82.5%.

Despite the long history of national support for the practice, the article entitled, “Consequences of Fluoridation of Drinking Water on Human Health,” concludes that artificial fluoridation of drinking water and milk has not only been ineffective at reducing dental decay in children, but is likely harmful to health.  According to the researchers:

“A) The effects of fluoride intake pose risks of various diseases in the asthmatic-skeletal, neurological, endocrine and skin systems. Dental and skeletal fluorosis are signs of chronic and excessive ingestion of fluoride.

    B) Infants, children and adolescents are at high risk of diseases due to over-intake of fluorides, through drinking water and / or fluoridated milk, as the deterioration of health is proportional to the dose and the time of exposure .

    C) The fluoridation of drinking water does not significantly impact on caries prevention. For their effectiveness is rather a topical and non-systemic effect, as demonstrated by countries that do not fluoride drinking water, and do not use milk or fluoride salts, decreasing dental deterioration at the same rate as those that fluoride drinking water.”

The research team based their analysis on a review of all available studies that included control of confounding variables.  They discuss fluoride’s ability to cause bone, thyroid, neurological, and skin damage.  There is also in indepth analysis of WHO data that shows, “fluoridation of drinking water and salts have no incidence at all in reducing dental [decay].”

There was also a brief discussion on the legal aspects of water fluoridation, which found the following:

“The fluoridation of drinking water in Chile forces citizens to involuntarly consume a chemical they do not require.  For decade the majority of the Chilean population has been overexposed to this potentially unhealthy element, transgressing constitional guarantees.”

In response to their findings the research team made the following recommendations:

    1. To amend Decree No. 735 of November 7, 1969, updating it with Supreme Decree No. 131 of 2006, and the Regulations for Services for Human Consumption of 2007, to avoid fluoridation of drinking water and avoid fluoridation Of milk, in all regions of the country.

    2. Prioritize the use of dental hygiene products containing the necessary, but minimal, amounts of fluoride to maintain dental health, strengthen education for better dental care and better nutrition.

    3. Educate health and education professionals about the adverse consequences of fluoride intake.

    4. To carry out epidemiological studies in Chile, to evaluate the adverse effects on health, through ingestion and use of fluorides, for decades.”

  • HFI Educates 100’s of moms-to-be

After a day of educating new moms on vaccines, I’m exhausted (seriously physically and emotionally exhausted!), but, I’m feeling so thankful for having had the opportunity to reach out to mothers who are seeking to learn more. I do think some babies may have been saved today.

One mother with a 2 month old baby boy was planning to take her son in for vaccines in the next couple of weeks. She had no idea about the things I told her and was shocked and so thankful for the information. I gave her a hug at the end because I was so happy she stopped by.

Another mom expressed that she was not happy about the doctors trying to pressure her to give her already chronically ill daughter the HPV vaccine. She didn’t know that the multidose meningococcal vaccine contains mercury.

A mama to-be stopped by and told me she hadn’t thought about vaccines yet. And she left with a lot of information and more to look into.

One father held his sweetly sleeping baby in his arms and listened to me speak about HFI and vaccines and how we are not given all the information we need to make an informed decision, and he thanked me as he left.

One grandmother to-be wanted me to speak to the rest of her family members so that they could hear about the risks of vaccinating also.

One couple listened to me go on and on, with facial expressions of surprise and astonishment as I talked to them about the ingredients and what they can do to the body.

Another mom looked appalled when I told her that the vaccine manufacturers are not liable for deaths or permanent harm from their vaccines and that it’s the only industry which has no liability for their products.

Another mom said her doctor would no longer take her child as a patient if she didn’t vaccinate, and I gave her the name of a pediatrician who would not push vaccines on her child.

One mother believed she wouldn’t be able to send her child to school without vaccines. Thankfully Idaho still has all three exemptions.

And more! I hope and pray that my words to them would sink in and that they will choose to investigate this further.

I will continue to inform and educate, and hopefully gain more warriors in this fight for true health and health freedom.

  • When the CDC calls

HFI executive director’s son received a ‘random’ call from the CDC regarding his vaccine status. When the caller realized that she was speaking with a child, instead of hanging up, she tried to solicit more information from him, asking if he was in a safe environment to disclose his vaccine status. He immediately hung up and told his mom.

What have you instructed your child to do if they receive a phone call that starts with…

Hello, my name is __________. I’m calling on behalf of the  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We’re conducting a survey with cell phone users regarding childhood immunizations. Your cell phone number has been selected at random. This call will be recorded or monitored.

CDC does National Surveys and their information page was updated July 11, 2017.

According to their information page, this survey is suppose to be conducted with a parent or guardian..however the teen survey script does not appear to specifically ask if the person who answers the phone is 18 or older or a parent/guardian..A household telephone survey[86 pages].
