    Smart Does NOT Mean Safe

“Smart” meters are the gas, electric, water, propane, and solar utility meters being put on homes to replace the old analog meters. Smart meters emit high amounts of wi-fi radiation 24/7, and it goes through the walls and into our homes, schools, and businesses. There is an extensive literature database with an inventory of 38,224 publications and 6,994 summaries of individual scientific studies on the effects of electromagnetic fields. Smart is a marketing term used by industry to psychologically steer consumers to adopt these devices — inferring “smart” is a good choice when it is not.

    “Smart” does not equal safe!

Smart meters emit microwave radiation by using digital technology. This three-minute video prepared for the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities demonstrates how electric meters pulse radiation thousands of times per day:

Our bodies need a break from the wi-fi radiation we are constantly bathed in. Suppose smart meters and other devices are emitting radiation 24/7. In that case, it can be harmful to our cells, disrupt our circadian rhythm, and impair the required cell repair and regeneration while we sleep, which otherwise keeps us healthy.  The result is a toxic build-up that shows up sooner rather than later in some behavioral problems that look like ADD or Autism, sleep disruption, fatigue, headaches, dizziness, nausea, nosebleeds, skin rashes/flushing, and more.  The long-term accumulative effects may include cancers, infertility, genotoxicity, neurotoxicity, and more. *Biological and Health Affects

  • HFI Bill Update

We’re already halfway through the legislative session and want to keep you updated on the bills we’re tracking. While many more bills in the Capitol impact our families in various ways, our organization focuses solely on parental rights, bodily autonomy, and health freedom.

    Feb 2023 Update

    House Bill 2
    Bruce Skaug

NO FUNDS FOR ABORTION ACT – Amends, adds to, and repeals existing law to provide for the withholding of sales and use tax revenues from local government entities that defy state law and refuse to investigate or enforce Idaho criminal abortion statutes.

Local govt forfeits sales and uses tax revenue if they defy state law and refuse to enforce Idaho criminal abortion statutes.

    House Bill 20
    Herndon and Scott

This legislation amends Section 16-1607 related to reporting abuse, neglect, or the abandonment of children under the Child Protective Act. Currently, a person who reports allegations to CPS that they know to be false or reports allegations in bad faith or with malice is subject to civil liability to the parties against whom the report was made. This legislation retains the civil liability and adds a misdemeanor criminal penalty for these types of reports.

    House Bill 22
    Bruce Skaug

This bill withholds sales and uses tax revenue distributions to city or county governments that take actions, such as proclamations, to refuse to enforce any felony listed in Idaho criminal code. Some local governments may take it upon themselves to defy state law by refusing to enforce Idaho criminal codes. This bill allows a remedy to prevent ongoing or future lawlessness. The local government entities have 180 days from the state tax commission holdback to rescind their proclamation or other actions. Should they not, said funds will be returned to the General Fund

    House Bill 26
    Marco Erickson

This legislation amends Section 16-2428, Idaho Code, regarding confidentiality and disclosure of information records. Representative Marco Adam Erickson, Representative Barbara Ehardt, Representative Richard W. Cheatum, Senator Geoff Schroeder, Senator Treg Bernt

SOP: This legislation amends Section 74-101, Idaho Code, regarding public records. This bill seeks to align Idaho Code with Idaho Court decisions regarding the protection of personal privacy weighed against the public right to access. Idaho values the personal privacy of all citizens and wants to ensure no citizen is further exposed or left in a vulnerable position due to the release of information.

(16)(a) “Unwarranted invasion of personal privacy” means: 19 (i) Disclosure of information used to identify, locate, or harass 20 a juvenile, a victim of an alleged crime of mass violence or domes21 tic violence, or a victim of physical or sexual abuse; or 22 (ii) Disclosure where the release of information is likely to violate 23 legitimate and substantial privacy interests of the person identified when such interests are weighed against general public curiosity. 26 (b) Release of the name, age, sex, and hometown of any deceased person 27 after notification of next-of-kin shall not constitute an unwarranted 28 invasion of personal privacy. It shall be disclosed unless otherwise 29 exempt under this chapter.

    House Bill 63

    (a) Requiring a visitor to submit to health screenings necessary to prevent the spread of infectious diseases;

    (b) Restricting a visitor who does not pass a health screening requirement or who has tested positive for an infectious disease;

    (c) Requiring a visitor to adhere to infection control procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment; and

    (d) Limiting the number of persons in a room at one time pursuant to occupancy laws and the normal visitation policy

    House Bill 66
    Herdon and Scott

SOP: This legislation creates a new section of Idaho Code, 18-5415, related to reporting abuse, neglect or the abandonment of children under the Child Protective Act (CPS). Currently, a person who reports allegations to CPS that they know to be false or reports allegations in bad faith or with malice is subject to civil liability to the parties against whom the report was made. This legislation adds a misdemeanor criminal penalty for these types of reports.

CRIME – Adds to existing law to provide that reporting child abuse, abandonment, or neglect falsely or in bad faith is a misdemeanor.

    House Bill 69
    Monks

SOP: On April 7, 2021, Governor Little issued executive order 2021-04 which essentially prohibited the state of Idaho from requiring proof of vaccination to receive or access state services and facilities. This legislation codifies and expands the Governor’s executive order and provides that individuals will not be required to provide proof of vaccination or negative test results to: apply or receive services provided by the state; enter a government venue, or be hired or maintain employment with the state with some exceptions.

    House Bill 71

    Rep Skaug, Sen Den Hartog

Passed House 58-12-0, waiting for Senate committee assignment

    Chloe’s Law

SOP: The Vulnerable Child Protective Act would amend the existing state ban on female genital mutilation to also include puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and sex reassignment surgeries when administered to children struggling with gender dysphoria. Like FGM, these medical interventions are almost always irreversible; some render the patient sterile or with lifelong sexual dysfunction, while others unnecessarily mutilate healthy body organs.

    House Bill 72

    Jeff Ehlers

    Sudden Cardiac Arrest:

This bill is to encourage greater access of automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) in public by removing unnecessary regulations for persons or businesses that have an AED. It adds stronger immunity protections (commonly called “Good Samaritan laws”) for AEDs

    House Bill 73

    Julianne Young and Marco Erickson

This bill clarifies that licensed counselors can work in Idaho drug courts and mental health courts, even if the counselors have a past criminal conviction. Current rules at the Department of Health and Welfare prohibit licensed counselors with certain convictions from serving clients in those courts. So this bill gives DHW direction to remove the prohibition specifically for professional counseling services through Idaho’s treatment courts.

    House Bill 82

    Jacyn Gallagher

This legislation aims to ensure the Citizens of Idaho and health Practitioners maintain unregulated access to Vitamins and Supplements.

IDAHO DIETARY SUPPLEMENT ACT – Adds to existing law to enact the Idaho Dietary Supplement Act, which provides that the production, marketing, distribution, sale, and use of dietary supplements that were legal as of July 1, 2022, in Idaho shall remain legal in Idaho, regardless of any changes to federal law or regulation.

    House Bill 95

Rep Jack Nelson, Sen Phil Hart

This legislation amends Idaho Code 25-2703 regarding commercial animal feed to allow animal remedies intended for pets and equines to contain ingredients from industrial hemp as defined in Idaho law. This legislation does not legalize industrial hemp ingredients being included in the production of animal feeds.

    House Bill 114

    McCann-R, Matthias-D, Galaviz-D

Idaho Code 18-916 currently prohibits the abuse of public school teachers. This bill would expand these protections to cover all public school employees. It would also clarify Constitutionally-vague language that currently exists in statute

18-916. ABUSE OF SCHOOL TEACHERS AND EMPLOYEES. (1) Every parent, guardian, or other people who upbraids, insults or abuses any teacher of the public schools, in the presence and hearing of a pupil thereof, abuses a public school employee while the employee is acting within the course and scope of the employee’s duties is guilty of a misdemeanor.

    (2) For purposes of this section:

    (a) “Abuse” means to willfully and maliciously threaten, harass, coerce, or intimidate. The term “abuse” shall not be construed to include mere criticism or other constitutionally protected speech or activity. Rather, the term “abuse” refers to conduct that would cause a reasonable person substantial emotional distress or fear of physical injury.

    (b) “Public school employee” means a person directly employed by a school district or public charter school. The term “public school employee” includes administrators, instructional staff, and pupil service staff but does not include an independent contractor as defined in section 72-102, Idaho Code

    House Bill 145

    Gannon

    Faith Healing….

SOP: Present law requires “medical attendance” for a spouse in Idaho Code 18-401. It also requires “medical attendance” for parents or guardians with children except when prayer or spiritual means alone is chosen as a remedy. This legislation eliminates the faith healing exception to align parents duties to children with the duties of spouses.

    Senate Bill 1005

    Herndon

HFI’s bill! IMMUNIZATIONS – Amends existing law to require that daycare facilities provide citations to the immunization exemption law in communications with parents.

    Senate Bill 1009

    Dan Foreman

Adds new chapter to HFA SOP: This legislation creates a revised section to Chapter 90, Title 39, Idaho Code, relating to Health Rights. The revised section is to be known as Section 39-9004. This section establishes health rights under the law for medical patients, their family members, and legal guardians. This legislation will help ensure fairness of treatment, enhance patient awareness of medical treatment options, and install patient safeguards with respect to requirements for informed consent and the use of experimental drugs. This legislation will place necessary and expected restrictions on state and local government as to governmental authority with respect to the advertising of certain types of medicines or vaccines and the imposition of personal restrictions on Idahoans relating to widespread medical situations.

    Senate Bill 1012

     Sen Carl Bjerke

Adds a new Ch 8 to Title 39 The legislation seeks to amend Title 39, Idaho Code, by adding a new chapter that provides for a “Patient’s Right to Visitation”, where Idaho families will have the fundamental right to visit their loved ones who are receiving care in hospitals, hospices, and long-term care facilities. No health care facility in Idaho may require a vaccine as a condition of visitation and every health care facility must allow their residents and patients to be hugged by their loved ones. Furthermore, this right of visitation cannot be waived by an emergency declaration.

    Senate Bill 1018 / Senate Bill 1093

     Tammy Nichols, Judy Boyle

This legislation amends section 37-115 of Idaho Code to prohibit certain conduct regarding food that contains a vaccine or vaccine material without notification of the presence of the vaccine or vaccine material in the food.

    Senate Bill 1028

    No sponsor listed ???

HEALTH – Amends, repeals, and adds to existing law to revise provisions regarding reports and investigations of maltreatment of vulnerable adults.  It appears to consolidate definitions and language under ‘maltreatment’.

    Senate Bill 1029

    Lenney

A new section is added to Idaho Code (16-1618A) to prohibit investigations and court orders terminating a parent’s relationship with their child based on the child’s immunization status.
JUVENILE PROCEEDINGS – Amends and adds to existing law to prohibit a child protection investigation based on a child’s immunization status and to provide that a court shall not grant an order terminating a parent and child relationship based on a child’s immunization status.

    Senate Bill 1050

    Herndon

CPS SOP: This legislation amends Idaho Code to notify parents or guardians of their legal rights with respect to child protection investigations.

    Senate Bill 1095

    Linda Wright Hartgen

CPS SOP: In Idaho, local law enforcement and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (Idaho H&W) have different but vital roles when investigating and resolving complaints of child abuse. Idaho Code requires that when a person reports child abuse to law enforcement, the law enforcement agency notifies Idaho H&W of the reported abuse. However, there is no reciprocal requirement in Idaho Code for Idaho H&W to notify law enforcement when they are notified, and law enforcement is not.

This failure to send information from Idaho H&W to law enforcement means serious child abuse investigations may be delayed or even missed completely in some jurisdictions, which creates a danger for Idaho’s abused children.

    Senate Bill 1099
    Ben Toews

Privacy and Parental Rights (basically an answer to the Boise SD / BSU survey)
SOP: This bill protects students and families from government intrusion into personal and private matters and additionally provides transparency to parents regarding school activities.

    Senate Bill 1102

    Ben Toews

Parental Rights reinforced through transparent communication between parents and schools:

SOP: This legislation would update Title 33 Chapter 60, in the Idaho code regarding parental rights. It reinforces the fundamental rights and responsibilities of parents or legal guardians as primary stakeholders to make decisions regarding their child’s upbringing. This legislation encourages transparent communication between parents and schools.

    About Our Health Committee

The House and the Senate have health committees that will hear various bills throughout the session. A bill can be introduced in either the House Committee OR the Senate Committee. The committee is the ONLY TIME for the public to testify regarding a bill.

There is usually less than 24 hours to know what bill will be heard by the committee that day. Please realize that your voice matters. If you can’t make it to the committee meeting, EMAIL the members and committee secretary and let them know your concerns.

We are a part of a herd of friends and family. Sometimes we feel there is security in numbers. But what if your herd’s destination is a cliff? What will you do to stop the stampede of your herd as it charges head-first toward self-destruction?

Idaho means freedom, family, and the right to worship. Idaho means the right to protect yourself and help your neighbor when they need a hand. Idaho also means mind your business and the opposite of marshall law.

In early 2020 our world turned upside down. Thousands of employees and staff of our local medical facilities were told if they didn’t submit to medication ‘ prescribed/mandated’ by ‘private businesses,’ then they would lose their employment. Thousands stood by their side. They still lost their jobs. We lost their expertise and their experience in our medical facilities.

This message is applicable even more today.

    Choose Freedom Idaho.

  • Stop Medical Kidnap by Idaho CPS

Our children are given to us BY GOD, and our inherent parental rights need to be protected from state departments that have claimed authority over the lives of families. Medical Kidnap is the wrongful removal of a minor or vulnerable adult from a parent or guardian by law enforcement and/or a social worker. Parents/Guardians should always have the final decision in the child or vulnerable adults’ medical care and treatment until those parental rights are terminated by due process in a court.

CPS – CAUSING TRAUMA TO FAMILIES

As a result of CPS investigations, almost 2000 Idaho children are taken from their parents each year and are placed into the Department’s custody, and of those, 66% were eventually returned to their homes but only after much trauma inflicted at the hands of the law enforcement, social workers and judges on the family.

In almost every CPS case, especially the 83% that are unsubstantiated, the parents and the children suffer various forms of shame, fear, stress, trauma, self-doubt, and even depression as a result of the investigation.

Kristine knows firsthand the impact of St Lukes’s CARES Department (child at risk evaluation services) and the harm they cause families in the Tri-State area. It is possible that this hospital department is responsible for more than 500 children being placed in foster care via medical kidnap!

TURNING PERSONAL TRAGEDY INTO A CATALYST FOR CHANGE

Listen to Kristen’s story and support the bill that she has put together in the wake of the medical kidnap of her son for 16 months facilitated by St Luke’s Doctors and Idaho’s Department of Health Child Protection Department.

Detailed Reading of the Stop Medical Kidnap Bill

This is a very comprehensive bill. It was introduced by Senator Christy Zito and Representative Tammy Nichols at the 2022 session. It received a print hearing and is available for review on the Legislative website. In this video below, Kristine reviews each section of the bill, its purpose, and its significance.
In her case, CPS violated its own policies and procedures and ignored the input of experts and professionals favoring only those few opinions that would support the wrongful removal of her son. Then clerical errors left her without contact with her son for 2 months. As a result, her child was at greater risk of medical complications and suffered many downturns physically and mentally while in the state’s care.

  • Victory for Health Freedom

HFI celebrating that committee chairmen who have held and destroyed our bills over the last several years have been removed from their legislative seats. Thanks to your diligence in educating your friends and family about the legislators and their voting records.

in the Senate, Fred Martin and Peter Riggs were voted out. These two individuals were almost exclusively responsible for keeping bills from being heard in the committee. There has been an overhaul in the Senate where all of the health freedom bills died.

In the House, Greg Chaney consistently voted against health freedom and as a Chairman did what he could to silence the voice of the people and proposed bills that violate the first amendment.

The people have spoken. Idahoans demand Health Freedom!

This election saw a LOT of people getting involved and RUNNING FOR OFFICE! People who realized that a good government is OUR responsibility. These individuals put their ‘regular lives on hold to run a campaign, expose the truth and educate the public, friends, and family about the importance of maintaining a legislature that listens to the people.

We are excited that there are many new faces joining the legislature. Many of those individuals have promised to uphold liberty and health freedom.

Time will tell. We will keep a close eye and ‘we the people’ promise to hold them accountable to their word.

  • Honesty in the News: Is it the Unicorn in the Room?

I long for the days when the government was held accountable by journalists striving to expose the truth and government corruption. I applaud the emergence of journalists like those at Project Veritas who seek to resurrect what some consider to be the fourth branch of government.  Unfortunately, too many of us must deal with journalists who are enemies of God-loving patriots seeking to save our country and protect our families from the encroaching slavery of authoritarianism.

Unfortunately, I feel I must respond to an Idaho Capital Sun piece written about me and several friends because I believe the authors, Audrey Dutton and James Dawson, are being used, either knowingly or unknowingly, to lay the groundwork for what authoritarian statists would like to make happen in our great state. My own words need to be on record for the court of public opinion. The public opinion court does not govern my action, but it matters because laws and policies are created around what happens in this court.

To start, Ms. Dutton and Mr. Dawson seem confused as to why I and others would be upset about being doxxed ourselves when they view what Health Freedom Idaho does as doxxing. Perhaps they do not understand the meaning of the word, “dox.”

The term “dox” is defined in Merriam Webster’s Dictionary as “to publicly identify or publish PRIVATE information about someone, especially as a form of PUNISHMENT or REVENGE.”

Health Freedom Idaho does not dox. Health Freedom Idaho uses PUBLIC information about a person as a form of EDUCATION to their constituents.

Keep in mind that elected people understand that their information will be public and they accept this fact when they choose to run for a public position. They willingly give this information when they file to run for their desired seat. If they understood their duty, they would understand that they should be reachable to their constituents. If they understood the checks and balances built into our government, they would understand that they are giving their addresses and phone numbers to be published publicly in order to be held accountable should they frustrate the people who elected them. If they don’t understand these facts then they do not understand their role.

Ms. Dutton and Mr. Dawson show a call to action posted by me, encouraging people to call St. Luke’s to demand they release an exclusively nursing baby to his loving family and to show up at a public sidewalk gathering in peaceful public protest.

By definition, this is not doxxing.

People involved in the abduction of the child in question did so under false pretenses and they provided false information to the family of the child they abducted. If pressure had not been applied, the “system” would have robotically separated the child from his family for months. But because the pressure was applied, St. Luke’s decision-makers allowed the mother’s breast milk to be delivered and time was provided for the parents to hold their baby. Because the pressure was applied, putting a spotlight on the deceptive words and actions of those in the system, the baby was rightfully reunited with its family. Without the phone calls and peaceful protests of concerned citizens and the legislators who took part in those protests, employees of the system would have remained unwilling to do the right thing.

To be clear, the concerned citizens on the public sidewalk did absolutely nothing to hinder the effectiveness of the hospital.

The hospital administration escalated out of fear because they knew they were doing wrong and they needed news organizations to stir up public sentiment against those who showed up to support a family torn apart by an overreaching and totalitarian system.

Wittingly or unwittingly, Ms. Dutton and Mr. Dawson’s article was designed to emotionally manipulate the public into becoming subservient to an authoritarian mindset. If they succeed,  people will not realize they have the right to stand up against overreach when it is perpetrated against them.

I believe that lies are being committed against the public for three reasons:

    1. People who stand up when rights are being trampled on are called a “threat to our democracy.”  This is a false statement designed to manipulate emotions.

First, America is NOT a democracy. America is a beautiful and unique Constitutional Republic. A democracy invites mob rule. People who stir up the mob by saying a threat exists to the democracy stir up the populace against the very people who are protecting the populace and their lineage from the chains of communism.

    2.  Those seeking to overturn our representative government must make patriots the untouchables.  They smear those who inform others that their freedoms can and should be defended.

They know that people who are aware of their rights are powerful, and they fear an educated and informed populace who may rise up against the totalitarians who seek to rule over our country. To maintain control, they smear those who take action, creating a fear in others that they, too, will be smeared if they associate with those who are standing up to prevent rights from being taken away.

Such tactics are akin to the stereotypical Junior High School scenario where those in a popular group tell others they can’t hang with the “nerds” or they’ll be shamed and mocked by them just like they do to any group they deem uncool. This strategy has worked on people for a long time but as adults facing a lying media, it is much more dangerous.

    3. Righteous actions are being twisted and only one set of perspectives is provided to create reasons for even more restrictive laws, rules, and policies to be established. Left unchecked, this practice will result in tightened handcuffs for ALL citizens.

One plan, in particular, is the proposed bill making it unlawful to go to the streets outside elected officials’ homes for purposes of protest and redressing grievances.

Allow me to remind the reader: A reason exists that our elected neighbors have their contact information public. The fact that our system has been so deaf to the cries of the people led to citizens becoming so frustrated to the point of going to elected people’s homes and neighborhoods. Rather than be a crime, this should be an indication of the state of our government, not the character of the people.

There are some in our governmental positions whose actions and behavior have become calloused that these officials no longer believe they are accountable to the people they are supposed to serve, let alone serving the spirit and the principles of the Republic.

Here’s a question to consider: Where are the news stories of the people who are so frustrated with the tone-deaf system that they take time out of their busy lives to try to talk to their elected representatives or attempt to educate their neighbors about what is really going on?

It is a dangerous precedent removing the ability of Americans to redress their grievances in peaceful ways when those in positions to hear those grievances refuse to listen.

I must ask the readers, what happens when it’s your business, your child, or your gun?  Will you retreat quietly when they pat you on the head and tell you to sit down or go home?

If Chaney’s and Green’s proposed bill becomes law that’s exactly what people will have to do, all while they remain tone-deaf to the real grievance they were elected to hear.
See H195 sponsored by Reps. Greg Chaney, R-Caldwell, and Brooke Green, D-Boise

If and when that happens, the people of Idaho will have themselves to blame because they will have bought the lie that those who were trying to protect the liberties of Idahoans were a threat. They will believe that those who were stealing those freedoms were themselves the victims.  If such legislation is passed, politicians will be able to reign unchecked (without the tool of political pressure which has been afforded to Americans within the framework of our country since it was founded).

I have learned an important lesson in my work to preserve health freedom, and it’s that the First Amendment is the one part of our Constitution that totalitarians fear the most.

Some who have acquired seats of power view my words as a weapon, and we are not far from the point that people who speak freedom will be called domestic terrorists or extremists.  My desire is to shine a light on the travesties perpetrated upon the people by a corrupt government.

Our beloved Idaho has become infiltrated by statists posing as Republicans. The list seems to grow every year, but identifying who they are is not the purpose of this response.

It is my desire that Audrey Dutton and James Dawson find the passion that possibly inspired them to become journalists and use that same passion to dig into the plethora of information awaiting them regarding our elected representatives. That action would be more beneficial to the future of Idaho than smearing and attempting to criminalize the people giving countless hours and immeasurable energy in order to protect the future of Dutton, Dawson, and their individual children and grandchildren.

I refuse to be a pawn in the battle to destroy our freedoms. I pray the eyes of journalists across America will be opened, that they will seek the truth, and they will report on the government corruption that is leading us to globalism.  Just like every reader of this response, journalists like Dutton and Dawson were created for such a time as this. And just like everyone else, they will have to answer the question of which side of history they will be on.

We all have unique gifts and influences. I encourage everyone to put on the armor of righteousness, take a stand and realize what our purpose is for this moment in history. Idahoans should not be stymied by false accusations and misused terms that become used as weapons against us. You were created for a time such as this.

Let’s answer the call together and defend liberty with the veracity it deserves.
