  • Vaccine Hesitancy it’s the unanswered questions.

    Why do they shut down the dialogue, censor the conversation and skirt the concerns of parents hesitant about the ‘greatest medical advancement’ -vaccines? Why are they immediately discredited, name called, labeled an anti vaxxer” & dismissed if they dare ask questions about vaccines?

    Why does the government want to mandate that a healthy child be injected vaccines with ingredients that they assume no responsibility for? Why does my doctor immediately become defensive when I ask him a question about vaccines?

    We are entering a time in history where we are not even allowed to ASK. Vaccine hesitant parents have questions. They not only want to silence the discussion completely, instead of answering our questions, but they’re also going the extra mile to learn how to combat our hesitancy.

    Isn’t it easier to just… answer the question?

    Oh, that’s right… kinda hard to convince people who are awake to the LIE – that poison is suddenly not poison just because it’s in their FDA-approved syringe. It’s hard to convince a parent who has seen the vaccine driven damage done to their children and family members. As those who profit from vaccines the number of ‘recommended’ and mandated injections, so does the damage. Don’t be afraid of the answers, be afraid of not asking the questions #justasking

Merck created Vioxx and is currently being sued for both the Shingles vaccine and Gardasil, and yet their products can be mandated for school entry?

    Why do you need to censor free speech and mandate a product if it’s so great?

    Who is responsible when my child suffers an adverse reaction to a procedure performed at this appointment? ME! Will the doctor or manufacturers take full liability if the product you are pushing causes harm to my child? Nope. Was I given any relevant information to vaccine reactions when I vaccinated my children? NO.

    Are there risks with vaccines? Yes. 4 billion has been paid out only a small percentage of families who suffered death or injury from vaccines.

    Most will look at this and think it is a vigil in remembrance of 9/11, sadly it is not.
    This is a vigil was held at the CA state capital in remembrance of the lives taken and children left with permanent disabilities or injuries caused by vaccines.

    Does this look like 1 in 1 million to you?

    In most cases, the doctors and nurses do not even know about VAERS or just omit sharing it with their patient. <VAERS>

  • Our Public Health System Is Failing

    Public Health Departments established with the intent to improve the health standards of the citizens of the US but instead are failing the 327 million people who live in this country. Unfortunately now public health prioritizes profit over people. Our communities get increasingly more ill while pharmaceutical profits increase exponentially.     • ❌ Suicide rates rising, especially among young people and medical doctors , and a life expectancy rate that has fallen (slightly but enough to be considered statistically significant) for the past 3 years.

    Public Health prioritizes profits over people, resulting in one of the most bloated vaccine schedules in the world.

    I love America. We all want the same thing: our children and our planet to survive and thrive. It pains me to see so many parents suffering because their children have environmentally induced iatrogenic brain and immune system damage.

    Public Health is failing the 327 million people who live in this country. Anyone who takes the time to look at the big picture understands that this is true.

    Having concerns about the CDC’s current childhood vaccine recommendations isn’t about being anti-vaccine. It’s about being in favor of children’s health, evidence-based medicine, science, and intact brains.

     Journalists, it’s time to report fairly and accurately on this topic.

    Politicians, responding to the failure of Public Health by trying to force for-profit medicine on every family is absurd.

    The dominance of the weed killer Roundup in the marketplace is remarkable. In a recent article about Glyphosate, the global news organization, Reuters, highlighted that these chemicals are part of an enormous market, with world annual sales totaling $15 billion, with more than $5 billion of that spent in the US alone.

    Recent Court cases show Monsanto acting with malice and deceptive actions – aware of the damage their products caused.

    • Glyphosate has contaminated our planet, and is now found in our children’s urine, mother’s milk, our bloodstreams, and our food and water. 
    • In 2015 the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of the World Health Organization found that glyphosate “is a probable human carcinogen”.

    GMO, GLYPHOSATE &amp; CANCER

    In 2015, the World Health Organization sounded the alarm on glyphosate, an ingredient found in the world’s most-used pesticide, Roundup. It was again a long overdue decision, given what independent scientists have been warning for years.

    The American children have earned the title of “Generation Rx.”Leveling percentage of our total health care costs. The Centers for Disease Control now reports that cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15. And oncologists and leading experts in the field of cancer are calling for new treatment models, worried that the increasing costs of cancer is going to put an unprecedented strain on our health care system.

    SOUNDING THE ALARM

    Dr. Don Huber, a Professor Emeritus of Plant Pathology at Purdue University, a land grant institution, has been studying plants for 55 years.

    He has received various awards for his scientific accomplishments and contributions to government.

    His agricultural research the past 50 years has focused on the epidemiology and control of soil borne plant pathogens with emphasis on microbial ecology, cultural and biological controls, and physiology of host parasite relationships.

    Dr. Don Huber created a stir with a letter that he sent to Secretary Vilsack at the USDA urging a reconsideration of the safety status of a chemical widely used on our food crops. His concern is an ingredient called glyphosate and its use in a popular weedkiller. 

    He’s in his 80s, and he is also a father, a grandfather and has had a 41-year military career and is now a retired Colonel, having evaluated natural and manmade biological threats, including germ warfare and disease outbreaks and worked on committees that are part of the USDA National Plant Disease Recovery System under Homeland Security. Quite honestly, his bio reads like that of one of our country’s greatest heroes. He’s dedicated his life to putting food on the table for American families.


    Dr. Don M. Huber

    Dr. Huber is Professor Emeritus of Plant Pathology at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Idaho (1957, 1959), a Ph-D from Michigan State University (1963), and is a graduate of the US Army Command &amp; General Staff College and Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He was Cereal Pathologist at the University of Idaho for 8 years before joining the Department of Botany &amp; Plant Pathology at Purdue University in 1971.

    His agricultural research the past 50 years has focused on the epidemiology and control of soilborne plant pathogens with emphasis on microbial ecology, cultural and biological controls, and physiology of hostparasite relationships. Research also includes nitrogen metabolism, micronutrient physiology, inhibition of nitrification, and nutrient-disease interactions.

    In addition to his academic positions and research, Dr. Huber has had several concurrent careers including 14 years as a professional labor-relations mediator with 7 years service on the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board as a Mediatory/Fact Finder/Conciliator, and served 12 years on two school boards with recognition as a Master Board Member from the Indiana School Board Association and Honesty in Public Service Award from Taxpayers United For Fairness. He retired in 1995 as Associate Director of the Armed Forces Medical Intelligence Center (Colonel) after 41+ years of active and reserve military service.

    He has received various awards for his scientific accomplishments and contributions to government. Dr. Huber is an active scientific reviewer; international research cooperator with projects in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Mexico, and Russia; and a consultant to academia, industry, and government. He is author or co-author of over 300 journal articles, Experiment Station Bulletins, research presentations, book chapters and review articles; 3 books, and 84 special invited publications. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in the development of nitrification inhibitors to improve the efficiency of N fertilizers, interactions of the form of nitrogen, manganese and other nutrients in disease, herbicide-nutrient-disease interactions, techniques for rapid microbial identification, and cultural control of plant diseases.

    His greatest accomplishment has been his marriage to Paula Huber and their 11 children and 35 grandchildren. Dr. Huber currently serves as APS coordinator of the USDA National Plant Disease Recovery System (NPDRS).

  • Chronic Disease, Round Up and GMOs

    Reflect, please on the history of marketing and selling the “harmless” active ingredient in the weed-killer Round-up®. The company which Monsanto bought, had discovered this master-chelator could dissolve most metal scale deposits in boilers and pipes. Glyphosate levels in our food chain took a monster leap upward in 1980-85, when (it being deemed so harmless) glyphosate spray was recommended to kill wheat and other grain crops, just prior to harvest. Thus the “weedicide” became instead a “cropicide” (11).  Sprayed on your food at harvest-time, the chemical moves directly into the grain to where seed embryos are being pre-formed and joins the seed part which becomes flour and that we eat. So, if you ever doubted hundreds of privately paid-for tests show now that WE EAT IT! (12) (13).  

    Glyphosate is the most used pesticide in the history of the world. Agribusinesses and farmers sprayed 300 million pounds of RoundUp in 2016 alone. Over 8.6 billion pounds worldwide since it was introduced in 1974––nearly 75% of that in just the last 10 years.

    How the World’s Most Powerful Weed Killer Works

    Glyphosate’s weed-killing action is entirely due to the disruption of a single enzyme.

    Just one.

    All the millions and millions of gallons of RoundUp flooding the world every single year are all to stop one enzyme: 5-enolpyruvylshikimate 3-phosphate synthase, or EPSP-Synthase.

    This enzyme is essential to a plant’s survival.

    It is the critical link in a biochemical process that creates the “aromatic amino acids” (amino acids with a ring attached): phenylalanine, tryptophan, and tyrosine. [2]

    Every plant dies without the ability to make these 3 critical amino acids.

    How Monsanto Can Claim RoundUp is “Safe”

    What’s interesting about these 3 amino acids, is that humans can’t make them. We call them “essential amino acids,” meaning we have to get them from our diet––mostly from plants.

    Therefore Monsanto claims that because humans don’t have this particular enzyme, glyphosate is safe for use.

    But there is one glaring problem here:

    Humans are made of amino acids. The same glycine-glyphosate substitution happens in our bodies.

    But before we get into details of how this is a problem, let’s look a little deeper at how glyphosate works.

    Why does glyphosate affect the EPSP-S enzyme?

    Enzymes work by creating an “active site” that catalyzes a chemical reaction

    For EPSP-Synthase the active site is a small “pocket” created by glycine. Glycine’s small size makes the space for the biochemical magic to happen.

    However, if a cell accidentally uses a glyphosate molecule instead of glycine, that extra “phosate” group fills up the pocket and blocks the active site.

    Without an active site, the reaction cannot happen. It’s like someone changing the lock on your door; the key just won’t fit.

    When this happens to the EPSP-Synthase enzyme, the plant (or bacteria or fungi) cannot make the amino acids it needs to function and the organism dies [2].

    This raises a new question:  if cells really use glyphosate like glycine, wouldn’t we see it in other places also?

    Wouldn’t it cause more problems in other areas associated with glycine?

    The answer points to some of the most mysterious and tragic epidemics of our time. 

    It is not hyperbole to say “glyphosate substitution” (the loss of three Amino Acids) may well be considered to be the cause of most of the idiopathic (unsolved) chronic diseases now rising in human world populations as glyphosate may continue to increase in our diets.     Glyphosate, Collagen and Chronic Pain

    Collagen contains the highest concentration of glycine of any protein: nearly 35% glycine by weight.

    And what do we see with glyphosate?

    Again, Monsanto’s internal studies reveal glyphosate accumulates the most in connective tissue and bones [1].

    Collagen is the single most abundant protein in our body. It makes the fascia between your internal organs, makes your skin supple, protects your joints, and forms your ligaments.

    Its structure forms a tight, springy helix, which holds water as a cushion.

    When glyphosate is substituted for glycine, the structure loses its shape. The elasticity and strength become compromised. The joints lose their cushion.

    This is very likely to create chronic joint pain––one of the core drivers of the opioid epidemic in the U.S. [4]

    Collagen is also a critical player in gut issues, including inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome. If collagen is malformed, gut function is also likely to be disrupted [3].

    The Tip of the Iceberg

    There is a correlation between Glyphopho-Food and Food Allergies, Gut Peristalsis and Myosin Sabotage and The Autism Connection and Impaired Detox and Digestion. In fact there are 20 diseases in the USA that correlate with the rise of Glyphosate and GMOs in our food supply. 

    This is only the beginning. If we look for other potential health issues with glycine-dependent proteins, glyphosate may be implicated in the massive increase in Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, autoimmune conditions, infertility, and cancer.

    Glyphosate Substitution

    What happens if one in a thousand proteins are mis-manufactured by a compound which does not break down as was supposed?  Why care about deficient F, Y and W?  Well, to put it bluntly, Y is precursor to dopamine (that when fails, produces Parkinson’s disease).   W is precursor to both melatonin (without which no brain repair during sleep) and serotonin, also essential for brain well-being and for gut food passage.  Without both serotonin and dopamine, any person would likely be sleepless, and possibly exhibit severe mental derangement.  Lacking self-esteem, some might become suicidal, or enraged and potentially commit mass mayhem – possibly indiscriminate murders about which their family and friends would then remain in disbelief, clueless about real causes. Could this clearly be a case of de facto government sanctioned poisoning?

    Did Monsanto know the impact on human health? Clearly the answer is YES. They knew their billion dollar product could harm and kill humans. The initial reports of licensing appear now all to have been written by Monsanto employees and consultants, without attribution of interest conflicts. Some relevant postings of decisions have been removed.

  • Sippy Cup Tested for Astronomical Amounts of Lead and Cadmium

    90 ppm is the legal limit for lead in items to be used by children. This child’s sippy cup was tested at 5000 ppm for lead in the painted markings and is still being sold on Amazon. This case is especially egregious as the company is denying the jars have Lead (in correspondence with customers since a blog post was first published with test results on this brand back on 9/16/18) AND they advertise them as being “Lead-free” (so customers are specifically purchasing them in order to have a Lead-free option!

    A regulatory loophole puts your child at risk of heavy metal exposure.

    All the regulatory agencies that are fed tax payer funds to protect us, including CDC, EPA, and CPSC have, in recent years, finally acknowledged the long-held consensus in the scientific community — that there is actually no safe level of lead exposure for children, and accordingly officially adopted that explicit language.This obviously implies that it cannot be considered “safe” to have Lead in products intended for use by children or for use with children, and accordingly stringent regulatory standards were required to reflect this reality.

    “Zero” in regulatory terms becomes “however close to ‘zero’ industry representatives say is “realistically feasible”. As a result, in 2008 the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) set “90 ppm lead” (in the paint or coatings of items intended for use by children) as the new hazard level (phased in by 2010) at or above which it is illegal to sell this item to be used by children.)

    When testing the “Jervis & George” brand reusable glass jar (with yellow sippy cup top) pictured here, all of the white painted markings on the outside of the glass were positive for unsafe levels of Lead (high Lead-content paint — with levels consistently above 6,000 ppm Lead). 

    Exactly how much Lead (and Cadmium) was found on these jars?

    This particular child’s sippy cup jar had the following lead readings:

    • Zinc (Zn): 75 +/- 15 ppm
    • Iron (Fe): 65 +/- 34 ppm

    Note: All tests reported on this blog are science-based and replicable. Tests are done for a minimum of 60 seconds each, using a Niton XL3T, testing in “Consumer Goods” mode. If a metal is not listed, that means that particular metal was not detected using an XRF instrument in Consumer Goods mode.

    This is consistent with other products from this brand tested by activist Tamara Rubin .

    THE INSANE LOOPHOLE:

    There is an atrocious loophole that is allowing Lead in the painted markings of baby food containers, baby bottles, sippy cups and other items intended for children — for FOOD USE, no less

    Because there is so little actual paint on the surface of these jars or bottles, even though the paint has an extremely toxic level of Lead and even though Federal agencies agree “no amount of Lead exposure to children is safe“, the CPSC has maintained the position that it considers the Lead paint on products like this to be “an acceptable amount of Lead paint” and therefore these products are in compliance with current (ridiculously stupid!) regulations.

    What is the solution?

  • New Idaho Broadband Task Force A Step Towards Fast-tracking 5G?

    Governor Brad Little has formed a Broadband Task Force to address the ‘internet-underserved’ areas of Idaho. This task force will make recommendations to the Governor about the best way to bring this technology to all of Idaho.  

    5G touting more speed and less latency than previous iterations, the years-long migration will require an expansion of cellular networks worldwide to include millions of new antennas that will become the backbone of IoT (Internet of Things) and its billions of sensor-laden devices, from smart dust to smart cars. 

    5G is being pushed heavily by the task force members and the industry. The Industry claims studies that show “no harm” focus on the thermal effects.  However, Independent studies show the harm is coming from non-thermal effects.  

    We need to inform the Governor that fiber optics is the safest, most reliable, quickest and environmentally friendly option, and that we DO NOT consent to 5G.

    If you have not done so already, I implore you to write or type out a letter and send to the Governor first, and to your Mayor and City Council as well. Make the most use of your time, you can copy the same letter for each individual!

    Please do NOT allow 5G mini cell towers into neighborhoods.

    The new 5G technology is untested, yet will place mini cell towers every 2-3 houses within subdivisions.  We know, and have know for years, that Cell towers cause cancer clusters.

    WiFi is just not as safe as everyone is lead to believe.  Just like with Tobacco in the 60’s, industry studies are manipulated and scientists that speak out for independent studies are discredited and harassed.  Here’s what we know:

    • Children are particularly vulnerable.

    • Short term and long term effects of WiFi are real.  Cancer, insomnia, headaches, heart arrhythmias, are all well documented. Independent research is there in abundance.   Attached below are just a few sources.

    • Studies that show “no harm” focus on the thermal effects.  However, the harm is coming from non-thermal effects.  

    • Approximately 3% – 5% of people are moderately affected , with another 20-25% of people being slightly affected. Less than 1% of the population is severely affected, but the numbers are rapidly increasing with the exponential rise in EMF pollution****. Symptoms include,  but not limited to heart arrhythmias, insomnia, headaches, and inability to concentrate. Some studies even link infertility to cell phone use.

    Americans should, first and foremost, be afforded “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”  Those of us that suffer from the immediate health effects of Wifi are not be afforded our constitutional rights to live without fear and with harm.

    Currently, I am living in a home that is “safe”.  As long as I stay out of the path of the smart meters in my subdivision when they are transmitting, I am fine. Should I step in front of them at the wrong time (1:17 pm, 5:17 pm, 4:17 am)  I am thrown into an irregular heartbeat. With 5G being forced into our lives, I live in fear that I will soon need to leave my home of 30 years and I do not have the financial ability to do so. Even if I could afford to move, where can I go?  5G will be everywhere.    How do I leave my home and my pets (I doubt I’d be able to take them with me), just so I can live with a normal heartbeat?

    How can you ask that of me?

    Please for the sake of your constituents, and for the children, do NOT allow 5G into neighborhoods.  You will be taking away one of our constitutional rights to live – just simply to live.  Pushing 5G on people – making all neighborhoods cancer cells and hot zones for the ill, isn’t right.  It takes away our liberties.

  • Toxic Chemicals Contaminate Foods Marketed to Children

    The FDA refused to test our foods for contamination. EPA refuses to reduce the amount of toxins permitted on our food crops. Independent studies show that our food is filled with toxic chemicals.  

     The weedkiller, produced by Bayer-Monsanto, was detected in all 21 oat-based cereal and snack products sampled in a new round of testing commissioned by the Environmental Working Group. All but four products contained levels of glyphosate higher than what EWG scientists consider protective for children’s health with a sufficient margin of safety.

    EWG’s petition, currently under consideration by EPA, calls on the agency to return to its health-protective 1993 standard. But it could take years for EPA to act, and the agency has been caught colluding with Monsanto to promote the claim that the chemical is safe.
    The only way to quickly remove this cancer-causing weedkiller from foods marketed to children is for companies like General Mills and Quaker to use oats from farmers who do not use glyphosate as a desiccant.


    More than 236,000 people have signed a petition directed at these food companies, calling on them to take action to protect consumers’ health.

  • FDA Approved Aspartame is a Proven Addictive Carcinogenic Neurotoxin

    Aspartame is an addictive carcinogenic neurotoxin still considered safe by the FDA. This neurotoxin is found in over 6000 food and drink products (almost ALL gum) and is deceptively marketed as “sugar free” and “healthy”.  Under the trade names Equal, NutraSweet, and Canderel, aspartame is an ingredient in approximately 6,000 consumer foods and beverages sold worldwide, including (but not limited to) diet sodas and other soft drinks, instant breakfasts, breath mints, cereals, sugar-free chewing gum, cocoa mixes, frozen desserts, gelatin. It may be labelled 951 or “contains phenylalanine”. 

    FDA officials still describe aspartame as “one of the most thoroughly tested and studied food additives the agency has ever approved” and its safety as “clear cut”. Aspartame damages the brain at any dose. Avoid it at all costs.

  • Scientist find that LED Blue Light can Damage Health

    The “blue light” in LED lighting can damage the eye’s retina and disturb natural sleep rhythms, a French health authority warned in a new report. “Exposure to an intense and powerful [LED] light is ‘photo-toxic’ and can lead to irreversible loss of retinal cells and diminished sharpness of vision,” the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES) warned in a statement. LED lighting may actually be one of the most important, non-native EMF radiation exposures you’re exposed to on a daily basis. Other health problems rooted in mitochondrial dysfunction may also be exacerbated, and these run the gamut from metabolic disorder to cancer.

    While less dangerous, even chronic exposure can “accelerate the ageing of retinal tissue, contributing to a decline in visual acuity and certain degenerative diseases such as age-related macular degeneration,” the agency concluded.

    Long-lasting, energy efficient and inexpensive, light-emitting diode (LED) technology has gobbled up half of the general lighting market in a decade, and will top 60 percent by the end of next year, according to industry projections. The basic technology for producing a white light combines a short wavelength LED such as blue or ultraviolet with a yellow phosphor coating. The whiter or “colder” the light, the greater the proportion of blue in the spectrum.

    Blue Light Disturbs the Circadian rhythm

    LEDs are used for home and street lighting, as well as in offices and industry. That are also increasingly found in auto headlights, torches (flashlights) and some toys. LED cellphone, tablet and laptop screens do not pose a risk of eye damage because their luminosity is very low compared to other types of lighting, Francine Behar-Cohen, an ophthalmologist and head of the expert group that conducted the review, told journalists.

    But these back-lit devices — especially when they are used at night or in a dark setting — can “disturb biological rhythms, and thus sleep patterns,” the agency cautioned.

    Because the crystalline lens in their eyes are not fully formed, children and adolescents are particularly susceptible to such disruptions, the ANSES reports noted.

    Interfering with the body’s circadian rhythm is also known to aggravate metabolic disorders such a diabetes, as well as cardiovascular disease and some forms of cancer, noted Dina Attia, a researcher and project manager at ANSES. In addition, a stroboscopic affect in some LED lights — provoked by tiny fluctuations in electric current — can induce “headaches, visual fatigue and a higher risk of accidents,” the report said.

    For domestic lighting, ANSES recommended buying “warm white” LED lighting, limiting exposure to LED sources with a high concentration of blue light, and avoiding LED screens before bedtime. ANSES also said that manufacturers should “limit the luminous intensity of vehicle headlights,” some of which are too bright.

    Best,  Incandescent light, especially the old type “Edison” style tungsten filament lamps. light is 2300K, close to sun-set light.

    I’ve replaced all my lamps with these tungsten filament lamps, and I sleep better, my children sleep better, and I can tolerate getting up at night to help the baby Much better.

  • The Effects of MSG

    Science proving MSG is dangerous. Many people immediately sensitive to MSG. It can interrupt the hormonal and biological development of many children. Research on the dangers of MSG continues to mount, albeit slowly. Some contend that funding for such projects is inevitably sparse. After all, why would the food industry (which funds most of these sorts of research ventures) want to spend money proving the detrimental effects of one of its chief money makers?

    There are a growing number of people who report immediate, adverse reactions within minutes eating MSG. Perhaps you’re one of those people? Or, maybe you know someone sensitive to it?

    Typical MSG complaints include:

    • burning sensations of the mouth, head, and neck, (1)
    • a weakness of the arms or legs, (1)
    • headaches, (1)
    • upset stomach, (1)
    • hives or other allergic-type reactions with the skin. (2)Double-blind studies on the effects of MSG have been done. These are studies where neither the participants nor the ones administering the study know who consumed MSG. Everything’s randomized and controlled by researchers a step removed from the process.

    And, guess what? Even these double-blind studies also found that MSG exposure caused muscle tightness, fatigue, numbness or tingling, and flushing in sensitive people. (3) 

    The effects of MSG are cumulative. Just because you don’t react to MSG now, doesn’t mean you won’t later. 

    According to Dr. Russell Blaylock, who wrote a book on the subject called Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills, sensitivity to MSG builds up in our bodies until we reach what he calls our “threshold of sensitivity.”

    MSG overstimulates our nervous system — exciting our nerves and causing an inflammatory response. 

    With time, these repetitive inflammatory responses cause our nerves to start producing more and more nerve cells that are sensitive to this kind of stimulation. The more overly-sensitive nerve cells we have, the stronger our immediate response to MSG will be. (4)

    MSG hides in more than 40 other FDA-approved ingredients. Because the manufacturer didn’t add an ingredient called “monosodium glutamate,” they can “truthfully” claim “No MSG added” on their label. Yet, nothing is stopping them from adding ingredients that contain MSG. In that case, the manufacturer only has to list the name of the actual ingredient added, not the ingredients within those ingredients.

    So, they can say a food includes “spices” or “flavorings” when that spice mix includes MSG. They can say the food includes “yeast extract” or “hydrolized soy protein” without telling you that the process of creating those ingredients also creates processed free glutamic acids (also known as MSG).
