    Rome, Italy Vaccine Mandates Passed. Italy’s parliament has given final approval to a new program making a slate of childhood vaccinations mandatory for school children up to age 16. The decree has passed the 2nd house. Now it moves to Mattrella for signing into law.

    TERMS OF THE VACCINE MANDATES FOR ITALIAN CHILDREN: 

    The initial proposal included fines up to 7500 euro and removal of the child from the home.  

    0-5 years: no daycare and preschool,
    100-500€ fine to pay (but we don’t know if it’s 1 time or 1 per vaccine)

    5-16 years: they can go to school but we have to pay always the fine

  • Not-so-rare vaccine reactions, Tylenol and antibiotics

    Watch this excellent video discussing vaccine-injuries, which are frequently regarded as “normal” or “nothing to worry about”. Vaccine-injuries, contrary to popular belief, are not “rare”. These reactions occur more than many people realize.  

    As consumers and patients, we have been taught to believe that vaccines are safe and don’t cause harm. When my son was young, he experienced some of the severe reactions described in this video after receiving vaccinations. The colorful paper I was given by the nurse at the doctor’s office did not discuss what to do if these symptoms occurred, and it was never mentioned to me as something to worry about. As a result, it was many years before I made that connection. I wish I had understood this sooner.

    Pediatricians recommend Tylenol and many other over-the-counter drugs containing the active ingredient acetaminophen to “manage” fever and/or pain after vaccination. Tylenol can make matters worse as it prevents the body from detoxing and interferes with glutathione levels which allow for proper detox in the body. This inability to detox can lead to chronic health conditions including autism, as seen in this study from The Journal of International Medical Research. 

    How much more at risk are children that take acetaminophen? Well, a 2008 study led by Stephen Schultz, PhD, a dentist who holds a PhD in public health epidemiology at the University of California at San Diego reveals that children taking acetaminophen after being vaccinated for measles, rubella and mumps (the MMR vaccine) cause a child’s risk of developing autism to be eight times higher than those given ibuprofen.

    Children are also routinely given antibiotics to manage frequent infections, colds, earaches and flus. Antibiotics typically don’t solve the underlying problem and eliminate all bacteria (including friendly bacteria that is necessary for the body to fight infection). They also compromise the immune system’s ability to protect from future infections and illness.

    These three treatments – vaccines, Tylenol, or Ibuprofen and antibiotics recommended and prescribed by pediatricians, are a “perfect storm” that can cause lasting damage to your child’s health. Please do your research and learn the risks before vaccinating or use these drugs.

    Is there any compensation for those who are vaccine-injured?

    Back in the 1980s, the whooping cough vaccine in the DPT shot was responsible for brain inflammation and death in many children. The live oral polio vaccine was also crippling children and adults due to the vaccine-strain engineered polio included in this combination. U.S. citizens were pressing charges against pharmaceutical companies to make them accountable for the safety of their products.

    In 1982, four drug companies (Merck, Wyeth, Lederle, Connaught) threatened to discontinue manufacturing vaccines in America unless a law was passed to protect these corporations from prosecution. The federal government then set up a compensation system for plaintiffs, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act in 1986.

    In the 2011, the pharmaceutical companies were granted complete immunity from lawsuit by the U.S. federal government. Compensation for court cases, then, doesn’t come from the government nor the pharmaceutical companies. It comes from taxpayer dollars – people like you and me.

  • HFI Educates 100’s of moms-to-be

    After a day of educating new moms on vaccines, I’m exhausted (seriously physically and emotionally exhausted!), but, I’m feeling so thankful for having had the opportunity to reach out to mothers who are seeking to learn more. I do think some babies may have been saved today.

    One mother with a 2 month old baby boy was planning to take her son in for vaccines in the next couple of weeks. She had no idea about the things I told her and was shocked and so thankful for the information. I gave her a hug at the end because I was so happy she stopped by.

    Another mom expressed that she was not happy about the doctors trying to pressure her to give her already chronically ill daughter the HPV vaccine. She didn’t know that the multidose meningococcal vaccine contains mercury.

    A mama to-be stopped by and told me she hadn’t thought about vaccines yet. And she left with a lot of information and more to look into.

    One father held his sweetly sleeping baby in his arms and listened to me speak about HFI and vaccines and how we are not given all the information we need to make an informed decision, and he thanked me as he left.

    One grandmother to-be wanted me to speak to the rest of her family members so that they could hear about the risks of vaccinating also.

    One couple listened to me go on and on, with facial expressions of surprise and astonishment as I talked to them about the ingredients and what they can do to the body.

    Another mom looked appalled when I told her that the vaccine manufacturers are not liable for deaths or permanent harm from their vaccines and that it’s the only industry which has no liability for their products.

    Another mom said her doctor would no longer take her child as a patient if she didn’t vaccinate, and I gave her the name of a pediatrician who would not push vaccines on her child.

    One mother believed she wouldn’t be able to send her child to school without vaccines. Thankfully Idaho still has all three exemptions.

    And more! I hope and pray that my words to them would sink in and that they will choose to investigate this further.

    I will continue to inform and educate, and hopefully gain more warriors in this fight for true health and health freedom.

  • When the CDC calls

    HFI executive director’s son received a ‘random’ call from the CDC regarding his vaccine status. When the caller realized that she was speaking with a child, instead of hanging up, she tried to solicit more information from him, asking if he was in a safe environment to disclose his vaccine status. He immediately hung up and told his mom.

    Hello, my name is __________. I’m calling on behalf of the  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We’re conducting a survey with cell phone users regarding childhood immunizations. Your cell phone number has been selected at random. This call will be recorded or monitored.

    CDC does National Surveys and their information page was updated July 11, 2017.

    According to their information page, this survey is suppose to be conducted with a parent or guardian..however the teen survey script does not appear to specifically ask if the person who answers the phone is 18 or older or a parent/guardian..A household telephone survey[86 pages].

  • Does Liability Protection Lead to Unsafe Vaccines?

    New Study Investigates Link Between ‘Delitigation’ and Product Safety By The World Mercury Project Team

     

    A peer-reviewed study recently published in the Review of Industrial Organization examines whether removing the right to sue (“delitigation”) affects product safety. The findings highlight the importance of litigation in maintaining vaccine safety.

    The study, “Is ‘delitigation’ associated with a change in product safety? The case of vaccines”, by economist Dr. Gayle DeLong at Baruch College in New York, compares vaccines licensed before the passage of the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) in 1986 with vaccines licensed after the legislation. Results suggest that vaccine safety deteriorated after consumers were no longer able to sue vaccine makers.

    The study examines adverse events (AE) per 100,000 vaccine recipients and finds the AE ratio increased from 21.0 for vaccines licensed before 1986 to 30.8 for vaccines licensed after the legislation. Further investigation reveals that the legislation is associated with an increase of between 9.4 and 12.8 injuries per 100,000 vaccine recipients (see Table 5 below). Serious AEs such as long-term disability or death also increased by about one per 100,000 vaccine recipients.

    The study further analyzes whether increased benefits outweigh the increased risks of vaccines. The argument that the vast majority of people benefit from vaccines, because the vaccines prevent most people from acquiring a disease, is incorrect. Not everyone developed a disease before a vaccine existed, and acquiring a mild case of a disease can sometimes be beneficial. The beneficiaries of a vaccine are people who would have caught the disease and developed a serious complication. Analysis of the benefits of vaccines must therefore determine the proportion of people who developed serious complications from a vaccine-preventable disease.

    Findings suggest that a child has a greater chance of being severely injured by a vaccine than of sustaining a serious complication from the disease before the vaccine existed. Although the proportion of people that reported a serious complication from a vaccine is small (0.0028%), it is more than double that of the proportion of people experiencing a serious complication from a pre-vaccine disease (0.0013%). The risks of vaccines are probably understated, because the study relies on the Vaccine Adverse Events Reports System (VAERS), which is a passive reporting system.

    The paper also addresses herd immunity and cites studies of disease outbreaks in highly vaccinated populations.

    In 1984 Dr. Jonas Salk, celebrated virologist who discovered and developed one of the first polio vaccines, related his concerns to the U.S. Congress about legislation that would indemnify vaccine makers against product liability. He was concerned that vaccine manufacturers would no longer have an incentive to improve existing vaccines or to replace relatively dangerous vaccines with safer shots. Thirty years later, his insights seem very prescient.

    The Health Freedom Movement has MILLIONS protesting in non-stop demonstrations all across Italy! For over a month Italians have been protesting in every city against a brutal proposed law that if approved will make 53 doses of vaccines mandatory. They’re not only fighting for their own children, they’re fighting to MAKE SURE these heinous laws do not pass in other countries. UNITY is an unstoppable force!
    Here In the U.S. and in our home state of Idaho we must stand together…hold our ground against a tide of laws and mandates that intend on stripping us of basic human rights.

Millions of people are taking to the streets to rally for their human rights.   I am hearing from people with family members in Italy that they are rallying every single day.  They are shouting that they will not give into these mandates.   They are shouting to their government that it is their human right to make decisions for their own children’s health and well-being.    

    Sadly an update from Italy. November 22, 2017 Italy lost the appeal.

    Italy lost! The terrible news arrives as the Constitutional Court rejects the appeal against the new 10 mandatory vaccines (56 mandatory doses by age 16). The Constitutional Court just rejected the appeal of the Italian region of Veneto and of the consumers associations. The 10 vaccines law stays in effect. If parents refuse to vaccinate their child loses educational rights or the family must pay a € 500 per vaccine per year to send the child to school.

    Obligation of legitimate vaccines in the current context

    At the hearing yesterday, in front of the Constitutional Court, were discussed the numerous issues of constitutional legitimacy promoted by the Veneto Region on Decree Law no. 73 of 2017, converted into law no. 119 of 2017 on compulsory vaccinations for children up to 16 years of age. The questions submitted to the Constitutional Court did not call into question the effectiveness of vaccinations – attested by the institutions appointed to it (World Health Organization, the Higher Health Institute) and a long series of national vaccination plans – but their mandate, suspended by Veneto Region with a 2007 law that had introduced a system of infectious disease prevention based only on persuasion.

    The Court stated that all the questions raised were unfounded. According to the Constitutional Court, the measures in question are a choice of the national legislature. This choice is not unreasonable as it aims to protect individual and collective health and is based on the duty of solidarity in preventing and limiting the spread of certain diseases. The Court considered, inter alia, that all compulsory vaccinations had already been envisaged and recommended in national vaccination plans and funded by the State under the Essential Health Levels (Lea). In addition, the transition from a strategy based on persuasion to a compulsory system is justified in the light of the current context characterized by a gradual drop in vaccine coverage.

    Finally, failure to vaccinate does not exclude children from compulsory schooling, which will normally be included in classes where other pupils are vaccinated.

    Brenda Fitzgerald of Georgia has been named director of the CDC. Shame on you President Donald Trump.     After backing candidate Donald Trump last year, antivaccine activists may feel betrayed in his administration’s latest move to name vaccine advocate Brenda Fitzgerald to run the CDC. At the same time, the medical community will likely breathe a sigh of relief on the nomination.

    Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price named Fitzgerald to the critical post Friday.

    After serving as the Georgia Department of Public Health commissioner and as a state health officer for six years, Fitzgerald will replace acting CDC Director Dr. Anne Schuchat. Before Schuchat, Tom Frieden served as CDC director for 8 years under the Obama Administration.

    In a series of tweets Friday, Frieden supported the appointment.

    As head of the CDC, Fitzgerald will be responsible for U.S. vaccination policy and much more. The position doesn’t require Senate confirmation.

    After fears that President Trump may push for a change in vaccine policy on autism concerns, her appointment will likely be a relief to medical professionals. In numerous public statements, Fitzgerald has supported vaccination.

    In April, Fitzgerald said in a statement that “immunizations are the best way to protect infants and children from childhood diseases, like whooping cough and measles that can be life-threatening at young ages.”

    She continued that it’s “critical for parents to talk to their child’s doctor to ensure they are up-to-date on immunizations, because no child should have to suffer a vaccine-preventable illness.”

    Ahead of the nomination, antivaccine group Autism Investigated posted an open letter to President Trump urging him to “withdraw any consideration” for Fitzgerald due to her vaccine stance. In the letter, the website’s editor Jake Crosby brought up Trump’s campaign promises to look into vaccine safety and pointed out that “many people voted for you this past election” because of those promises.

    Even before Fitzgerald’s nomination, antivaccine activists were disappointed with Trump’s appointment for FDA head, Scott Gottlieb, who has said any theories of a link between vaccines and autism have been “thoroughly debunked.”

    For her part, Fitzgerald wrote an op-ed titled “Babies need their vaccines” in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution back in 2014. In the piece, she makes clear her thoughts on immunizations.

    “I’ve heard all the arguments against vaccination,” she wrote in opinion piece. “All have been debunked, including the infamous 1980s study in Europe about a similar vaccine for measles, mumps and rubella, and a supposed link—that we now know to be false—to autism, which shattered vaccine use in Europe.”

    Fitzgerald’s nomination seems to be a reversal from candidate Trump’s campaign statements of a link between vaccines and autism, and from a pledge he reportedly made to vaccine skeptic Robert Kennedy, Jr., to start a governmental panel looking into the issue. The White House disputed the claim, but Kennedy, Jr., later said he still had the president’s support.

  • Idaho School Vaccinates Child WITHOUT Parent Permission

    HFI: Meridian, Idaho. A trial IN-SCHOOL VACCINE PROGRAM accidentally vaccinated a child WITHOUT parental permission. The parent, who wanted to make sure that her child was vaccinated in a doctor’s office, was furious! Schools are a place for learning NOT a place for administering ‘preventative’ medical treatment. Informed consent and RESPECT for parental authority is a paramount right that is being ignored by schools and doctors nationwide. Alan Phillips, vaccine rights attorney says, “Even for parents who want their child vaccinated, when the school does it without their permission, they  (parents) wonder: What else will they do without my permission? It’s the slippery-slope idea,” Phillips tells Yahoo Parenting. “It raises a very important constitutional issue, which is that parents have a fundamental right — under the 14th amendment, as has been interpreted by the Supreme Court in long line of past cases — to parent their children. That includes medical decision-making, with various exceptions in the law including emergencies and other compelling reasons… But a flu shot is not a compelling reason [to make an exception].” HFI wants to know WHY is this program in our state to begin with?

    An Idaho third-grader received a flu vaccine at his public school without parental consent last week — the result of a “mix-up,” according to the West Ada School District — leaving angry mom Letisha Huff wanting answers from officials there.

    “These are our children, they’re not guinea pigs,” Huff tells local news station KTVB. “Either get it right, or don’t do it at all.” Yahoo Parenting was not able to reach Huff for additional comment.

    But school district spokesperson Eric Exline says that Huff’s son Zachary, 8, inadvertently received the FluMist vaccine when the signed permission slip of another Zachary in his class — who was absent that day — was mistaken as his. Current procedure for the pilot program has slips signed by parents going from student to teacher to nurse, who double checks each child’s medical records for red flags such as asthma. Then the slips go back to the classroom, where they are doled out to kids who must bring their signed form with them to the in-school clinic for their vaccine. To insure a mix-up like this doesn’t happen again, Exline tells Yahoo Parenting, “We’re working on adding an extra step at the classroom level.”

    Still, says Huff, who explains she’s not against the flu vaccine but that she’d wanted it administered in a doctor’s office, “This isn’t something we should be practicing. They should know what they’re doing.”

    FLU SHOTS FACTS: 

    Schools have been known to occasionally vaccinate minors without parental consent, upsetting parents — pro-vaccine or not — because of their lack of control in the situation.

    In 2012, a 14-year-old public-school student in Detroit was given four shots, including one for HPV, without permission from home; shortly thereafter, the girl developed a severe rash, leaving her mother “angry with everybody” for administering vaccines she “never wanted her to have.” Last year in Canada, a 14-year-old girl was given tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis inoculations at her school without either a medical background check or parental consent; her parents were shocked and upset to learn that the law there does not require consent for kids 14 and over. And two New York City students received a swine flu vaccination without parental consent back in 2009, a misstep that prompted a city health department official to pledge they were working “to implement additional safeguards.”

    Though typically done in error, shots administered at school without parental consent raises an issue that goes beyond parents’ personal vaccine philosophies, according to Alan Phillips, a national vaccine-rights attorney based in North Carolina. “Even for parents who want their child vaccinated, when the school does it without their permission, they wonder: What else will they do without my permission? It’s the slippery-slope idea,” Phillips tells Yahoo Parenting. “It raises a very important constitutional issue, which is that parents have a fundamental right — under the 14th amendment, as has been interpreted by the Supreme Court in long line of past cases — to parent their children. That includes medical decision-making, with various exceptions in the law including emergencies and other compelling reasons… But a flu shot is not a compelling reason [to make an exception].”

    One reason parents want to be involved in the decision over their child’s vaccinations, Phillips notes, is because of the possibility of rare side effects, or of adverse reactions that could be triggered by asthma or egg allergies. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program paid out more than $202 million to parties claiming vaccine injuries in the government’s fiscal year 2014; claimants pointed to the flu vaccine in 1,527 injuries and 79 deaths, with 863 of those awarded compensation by the government, according to NVIC statistics. Because of that, Phillips notes, parents “should have the right to make an informed choice.”

    But in 2011, California passed a state law allowing minors 12 years and over to request and receive vaccines for Hepatitis B and HPV without parental consent; North Carolina has a similar law, and one has been proposed for New York.

    “It’s a big privacy issue. Parenting is very personal,” John Whitehead, founder of the civil liberties legal organization the Rutherford Institute, tells Yahoo Parenting. “Vaccines may be important, but a parent should at least be notified. Because if the government can stick needles in people without parental notice, at least, it would seem as though the state is taking over as parent.”

  • Parents Have The Power. They always have.

    HFI: North American children are now the most vaccinated on earth. If the science is settled and toxins injected and consumed in our bodies are safe then why our today’s children the first generation whose parents will outlive them? Where is the science that says injected aborted human DNA and animal DNA is safe for injection in our children’s growing bodies?     ” Guys, my heart is broken….one of my old friends from years ago had a 4 month old baby that was born days before my son.
    She vaccinated her son…..I begged her not to but she was hard headed.
    Her son had a pediatrician appointment 2 days ago.
    He got his 4 month vaccines. She kissed him goodnight and when she woke up, he had left this world to be with the angels.”

    I searched through the comments on her post, of parents who were both angry and sad… I found it. The cause of death? It was recorded as “SIDS”.

    KNOW THIS: Vaccines are pretty much NEVER considered as a potential culprit in the death of a child. It is wholeheartedly, ignorantly, assumed and blindly believed that vaccines are perfectly safe, and more often than not, the medical professionals will vehemently defend the vaccines if they are questioned… To voice the idea, that just maybe, the neurotoxic, hepatotoxic, and immunotoxic substances in the vaccines could possibly have caused this…? They will shut you down and assure you that there’s zero possibility. There was even a case where healthy twin infants both died, simultaneously, two days post-vaccination, and it was documented as “SIDS”.

    What we know: SIDS occurs most often at 2, 4, and 6 months of age… when several vaccines (typically 7-8 vaccines) are administered all at once, and research has shown that an infant is nearly 8x more likely to die within *three days* following vaccination with pertussis, compared to 30 days later.
