  • Dangerous pathogens found on children’s masks point to the need for a larger, more controlled study

    “A group of parents in Gainesville, FL, sent 6 face masks to a lab at the University of Florida, requesting an analysis of contaminants found on the masks after they had been worn. The resulting report found that five masks were contaminated with bacteria, parasites, and fungi, including three with dangerous pathogenic and pneumonia-causing bacteria. Although the test is capable of detecting viruses, including SARS-CoV-2, only one virus was found on one mask (alcelaphine herpesvirus 1).



    The analysis detected the following 11 dangerous pathogens on the masks:

    • Streptococcus pneumoniae (pneumonia)
    • Mycobacterium tuberculosis (tuberculosis)
    • Neisseria meningitidis (meningitis, sepsis)
    • Acanthamoeba polyphaga (keratitis and granulomatous amebic encephalitis)
    • Acinetobacter baumanni (pneumonia, blood stream infections, meningitis, UTIs—resistant to antibiotics)
    • Escherichia coli (food poisoning)
    • Borrelia burgdorferi (causes Lyme disease)
    • Corynebacterium diphtheriae (diphtheria)
    • Legionella pneumophila (Legionnaires’ disease)
    • Staphylococcus pyogenes serotype M3 (severe infections—high morbidity rates)
    • Staphylococcus aureus (meningitis, sepsis)

    Half of the masks were contaminated with one or more strains of pneumonia-causing bacteria. One-third were contaminated with one or more strains of meningitis-causing bacteria. One-third were contaminated with dangerous, antibiotic-resistant bacterial pathogens. In addition, less dangerous pathogens were identified, including pathogens that can cause fever, ulcers, acne, yeast infections, strep throat, periodontal disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and more.”

    What percentage of the rodents were getting tumors and how many of those rodents developed cancer causing tumors. Either way, Wow! 

    “These include tumorigenic cells such as MDCK and CHO cells (for influenza virus vaccines), 293 and PER.C6 cells (for adenovirus-vectored HIV-1 and other vaccines), and tumor-derived cells such as HeLa cells (for HIV-1 vaccines).”

    The FDA article was published in February 2018. However, Dr Judy Mikovits discovered retro viruses in vaccines sometime ago and was jailed for refusing to destroy the data.

  • Lead Contaminated Water: Boise Schools test 100 times the limit set by the EPA

    Local News reports that 23 schools in the Boise area have a water faucets exposing students to elevated levels of lead. Lead is toxic, and if it makes its way into the still-developing brains of young children, many of the effects can be permanent. Lead can change how signals are passed within the brain, how memories are stored, even how cells get their energy, resulting in life-long learning disabilities, behavioral problems, and lower IQs.

    The news report came out November 30, 2018 regarding the Boise School District. Tests for lead at water faucets and fixtures at 27 schools across the district and of the more than 1,000 tests conducted, nearly 200 tested at elevated levels (above 15 parts per billion) of lead. The tests above the limit span across 23 schools in the district. 

    Borah, Capital, Hillside and Whittier all had at least one faucet or fixture with test results more than 100 times the limit set by the EPA (0.015 mg/L).

    After Fairmont Jr. High School saw elevated results in a test for lead, Boise School District officials say they began supplying water to the 27 schools and began tests of the faucets and fixtures that could be at risk of elevated lead levels. 

    Since October, more than 1,000 tests have been conducted and the nearly 200 fixtures and faucets which tested at elevated levels are in the process of being removed and replaced. In the meantime, the District says it will continue to provide drinking water to those schools, as they have since the initial positive test. 

    While 23 schools saw at least one faucet with elevated lead numbers, Capital High School saw the most test results (44) above the 0.015 mg/L limit set by the EPA. Whittier Elementary School had 22 results above the EPA limit.

    When cells in the brain absorb lead, it tends to affect the frontal cortex, the area responsible for abstract thought, planning, and attention, and the hippocampus, essential to learning and memory. 1

    What are the health effects and dangers of lead?

    But the resulting symptoms vary a lot between individuals, says Jay Schneider, a neuroscientist at Thomas Jefferson University “You don’t often see the same kinds of cognitive dysfunction in all kids,” he says. “From what our research has shown, there are very significant differences in the way different brains respond to this particular toxin.” 1

    Since lead is stored in the body, a person can get poisoned from exposure to just small amounts of lead over a long period of time (chronic exposure).  You do not need to get exposed to just large doses of lead to be poisoned (acute exposure).  It can take months or years for the body to get rid of lead.  A person will continue to be exposed to lead internally even after the actual exposure to lead stops.

    How Does Lead Cause Neurological Damage?

    Lead can be ingested, through water or other contaminated substances–the Environmental Protection Agency limits the amount of lead in water to 15 micrograms per liter, though some toxicologists think that limit should be lowered to 10 micrograms per liter. Lead can also be inhaled or sometimes even absorbed through the skin, though lead can’t move from water into skin, so it’s safe to bathe in lead-contaminated water as long as you don’t drink it.

    Once it’s in the body, lead competes with calcium to be absorbed by the body. There are lots of factors that can affect just how much of the lead is absorbed, but there is an overall higher absorption rate for lead that is inhaled versus ingested. It sticks to red blood cells—doctors usually test the blood for proof of exposure to lead—and then moves into soft tissues, like the liver and lungs. If lead is absorbed into bones, it can stay there for decades and recirculate in the person’s blood if a bone is broken or when a woman is pregnant, potentially poisoning both the mother and the fetus. The amount the body absorbs depends on the route of exposure.  In general, an adult will absorb 10-15% of the lead in the digestive system, while children and pregnant women can absorb up to 50%.  People will absorb more lead if they are fasting or if their diet is lacking in iron or calcium.2

    A local doctor interviewed by 6 On Your Side said: 

    “Any neurological effects, (from exposure to the lead contaminated water fountain) Dr. Mark Uranga of St. Luke’ said, from minor exposure like this are very unlikely.”

    The U.S. National Toxicity Program states:

    The NTP concludes that there is sufficient evidence for adverse health effects in children there is sufficient evidence that blood Pb levels <5 µg/dL are associated with increased diagnosis of attention-related behavioral problems, greater incidence of problem behaviors, and decreased cognitive performance as indicated by
    (1) lower academic achievement,
    (2) decreased intelligence quotient (IQ),and
    (3) reductions in specific cognitive measures.

    There is also limited evidence that blood Pb <5 µg/dLis associated with delayed puberty and decreased kidney function in children ≥12 years of age. There is sufficient evidence that blood Pb levels <10 µg/dLin children are associated with delayed puberty and reduced postnatal growth. 3

  • US Food Brands Petition EPA to Ban Pre-Harvest Glyphosate Spraying

    The Environmental Working Group, joined by food and nutrition companies including MegaFood, Ben & Jerry’s, Stonyfield Farm, MOM’s Organic Market, Nature’s Path, One Degree Organic Foods, National Co+op Grocers and Happy Family Organics, petitioned the Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday to sharply limit glyphosate residues allowed on oats and prohibit the pesticide’s use as a pre-harvest drying agent.

    Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup, is mostly used as a weedkiller on genetically modified corn and soybeans. But it is also increasingly sprayed on oats just before harvest as a drying agent, or desiccant. Glyphosate kills the crop, drying it out so that it can be harvested sooner than if the plant were allowed to die naturally. This allows easier harvesting but also increases the likelihood that the pesticide makes it into foods.

    In 2016, a testing project by Food Democracy Now! and The Detox Project found alarming levels of glyphosate in General Mills’ Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios, Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, Raisin Bran and Frosted Flakes and PepsiCo’s Doritos Cool Ranch, Ritz Crackers and Stacy’s Simply Naked Pita Chips, as well as many more famous products.

    In August, independent laboratory tests commissioned by EWG found glyphosate residues in popular oat-based foods marketed toward children. Almost three-fourths of the samples tested had glyphosate levels higher than what EWG scientists consider protective of children’s health with an adequate margin of safety.

    “No parent should worry whether feeding their children healthy oat-based foods will also expose them to a chemical linked to cancer,” said Scott Faber, EWG’s senior vice president for government affairs. “Using glyphosate as a desiccant is not necessary, but only a convenience for growers. That’s not worth taking a chance with our children’s health.”

    The EPA’s legal limit on glyphosate residues is 30 parts per million, or ppm. The petition, joined by 8 industry leaders asks the EPA to set a more protective standard of 0.1 ppm, which was the legal limit in 1993.

    Over the last 25 years, the EPA has increased the amounts of glyphosate residue allowed on oats 300-fold. The first increase, to 20 ppm, was granted in response to a 1997 petition from Monsanto, when farmers around the world first began using glyphosate widely as a late-season desiccant. It was increased to the current 30 ppm level in 2008.

    Since then, scientists have linked glyphosate to cancer and researchers around the world have called for stricter limits on glyphosate exposures.

    In 2015, 17 of the world’s top cancer researchers convened by the International Agency for Research on Cancer reviewed hundreds of studies on glyphosate and voted unanimously to classify the weedkiller as “probably carcinogenic to humans.” Last year, California added glyphosate to its official list of chemicals known to cause cancer.

    “The verdict is in – glyphosate use poses a significant threat to the health of our planet and the people on it.  As more and more consumers continue to raise valid concerns about the incredibly harmful effects of glyphosate, it’s high time that the EPA prohibits the pre-harvest use of glyphosate on every farm across the country,” said Robert U. Craven, CEO of MegaFood. “The federal government has a duty to protect its most vulnerable citizens, and today’s petition filing is a signal that it’s time to clean up the supply chain to improve overall health.”

    “The citizen petition submitted to EPA today is an important step in confronting the overuse of glyphosate in our food system,” said Matthew McCarthy, CEO of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. “We call on EPA to quickly take the steps necessary to ensure that unwanted levels of pesticides don’t wind up the food Americans eat.”

    “As a mom of two young children and as a maker of organic baby food, I urge the EPA to protect us appropriately from this chemical glyphosate that may have serious consequences to our health and more importantly, the lifelong health of our children,” said Shazi Visram, Founder and ChairMom of Happy Family Brands. “Progress must always be made to ensure their safety and well-being. To me that means we are always strengthening our standards. So first and foremost we should maintain the standard that was 300 times stronger over 20 years ago.”

    The petition asks the EPA to prohibit the use of glyphosate as a pre-harvest desiccant on oats and set a stricter limit for imports coming from countries with less protective standards. This simple change could significantly reduce a source of the pesticide in Americans’ diets.

  • Kids Vaccinated with Flu Mist Are Spreading Disease

    After seeing a 2% drop in vaccine sales for flu, the ACIP panel brought back the ineffective FluMist live virus multi-strand flu vaccines. It was so ineffective last time it was pulled mid season because it hardly worked. This time doctors won’t know for sure if it works better than before — or better than other vaccine options — until it’s widely used again during an actual flu season. They just want your family to participate in their experiment. More astonishing is they are aware that this vaccine has the innate ability to expose EVERYONE around the vaccinated individual with multiple strains of the flu for almost month. Why would the agency designed to ‘control disease’ the CDC and manufacturers, whose products protect us from disease, intentionally putting children at day cares, schools and teams at greatest risk for flu ‘outbreaks’ this year?

    Just like a dog or cat sheds hair, the human body gives off, or “sheds,” flu virus when infected.     What does SHEDDING mean?

    It means capable of spreading the multiple strains of flu to all the other children in daycare, students in the classroom, children on the team, teachers, coaches, grandparents…you get the idea. So according to SCIENTIFIC evaluations of the vaccines performed by the manufacturers the vaccinated children are putting EVERYONE at risk exposing them to multiple strains of the flu after being vaccinated with the multiple strand flu mist vaccine.

    The most recent research from the National Academy of Sciences proves that people who are vaccinated spread the virus more, are not protected, and prior vaccination is harming people’s immunity!

    Does the flu vaccine protect you or those around you? 

    Well according to the research, the opposite would be true. The findings of the study found that those individuals who had received the flu vaccine were “shedding” 6.3 times more virus than the unvaccinated!

    “Self-reported vaccination for the current season was associated with a trend (P < 0.10) toward higher viral shedding in fine aerosol samples; vaccination with both the current and previous year’s seasonal vaccines, however, was significantly associated with greater fine-aerosol shedding in unadjusted and adjusted models (P < 0.01). In adjusted models, we observed 6.3 (95% CI 1.9–21.5) times more aerosol shedding among cases with vaccination in the current and previous season compared with having no vaccination in those two seasons.

    “The association of current and prior year vaccination with increased shedding of influenza A might lead one to speculate that certain types of prior immunity promote lung inflammation, airway closure, and aerosol generation. This first observation of the phenomenon needs confirmation. If confirmed, this observation, together with recent literature suggesting reduced protection with annual vaccination, would have implications for influenza vaccination recommendations and policies.”

    Plain Language.

    Higher viral shedding means that those who were vaccinated were breathing out more influenza virus and would be spreading it more than the unvaccinated. So when doctors, health departments, or health “authorities” like the CDC push the vaccine by saying things like “the vaccine protects you and those around you,” “everyone needs the vaccine because of ‘herd’ immunity,” or “you have to get the vaccine so you protect the very young, the elderly and the very weak/cancer patients etc.,” they would actually be lying.

    6.3 times more aerosol shedding means that those who were vaccinated were spreading more virus into the air around them just by breathing when compared to those who had not received the vaccine that same year and/or the flu vaccine from the previous year. 

    The implications of this finding now show that those who are vaccinated pose a greater risk to the immune compromised, i.e. cancer patients, the elderly and the very young and that the unvaccinated spread the disease less and protect others better! 

    In essence, the vaccine does the exact opposite of what people have been told and explains why we are seeing more and more people get sick earlier each year and more people die from the flu.

    Reduced protection with annual vaccination, means that the flu vaccine weakens a person immunity against infectious illness. This fact has been shown in multiple studies on children and confirmed with animal studies. One such study deserving of “honorable mention” is this study: Effectiveness of trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine in influenza-related hospitalization in children: A case-control study which found that children receiving the annual flu vaccine had a “threefold increased risk of hospitalization.”

  • Teflon Chemicals Bigger Health Threat Than Previously Disclosed

    Chemicals used for decades in hundreds of consumer products – including DuPont’s Teflon and 3M’s Scotchgard – are hazardous for human health and for the environment. PFOA and its cousin, PFOS, never break down in the environment. They build up in people’s bodies, and can be passed from mother to child in the womb and though breast milk.By the 1970s, DuPont and 3M had used them to develop Teflon and Scotchgard, and they slipped into an array of everyday products, from gum wrappers to sofas to frying pans to carpets. Known as perfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, they were a boon to the military, too, which used them in foam that snuffed out explosive oil and fuel fires.

    It’s long been known that, in certain concentrations, the compounds could be dangerous if they got into water or if people breathed dust or ate food that contained them. Tests showed they accumulated in the blood of chemical factory workers and residents living nearby, and studies linked some of the chemicals to cancers and birth defects.

    Now two new analyses of drinking water data and the science used to analyze it make clear the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Defense have downplayed the public threat posed by these chemicals. Far more people have likely been exposed to dangerous levels of them than has previously been reported because contamination from them is more widespread than has ever been officially acknowledged.

    Moreover, ProPublica has found, the government’s understatement of the threat appears to be no accident. The EPA and DOD have quite deliberately chosen not to use the most advanced tools or to collect the most comprehensive data on contamination, researchers say.

    The EPA and the Department of Defense calibrated water tests to exclude some harmful levels of contamination and only register especially high concentrations of chemicals, according to the vice president of one testing company. Several prominent scientists told ProPublica the DOD chose to use tests that would identify only a handful of chemicals rather than more advanced tests that the agencies’ own scientists had helped develop which could potentially identify the presence of hundreds of additional compounds.  

    “If you were going to spend $200 million testing DoD sites across the country, wouldn’t you want to test for all of the chemicals you know you used?” asked Jane Williams, executive director of California Communities Against Toxics, who has been active on chemical cleanup issues at Defense sites.

    “It’s almost like a deliberate thing, where you’re going to tell people their water is safe to drink, and you know that you have a gap in your testing and you know that you haven’t found all of the chemicals in the water.” The new analyses suggest these findings likely represent just a fraction of the true number of people and drinking water systems affected.

    Scientists are only now beginning to understand the importance of the information the government is choosing to leave out. Field has found, for example, not only that there are more variations of PFAS compounds, but that some degrade over time into PFOS or PFOA, or, like PFBS, travel faster in the environment, making them predictors for other contaminants soon to come.

    “Widespread contamination may be harming the health of millions or even tens of millions of Americans and the government is intentionally covering up some of the evidence,” said Erik Olson, a senior director for health, food and agriculture initiatives at the Natural Resources Defense Council, in an interview. The EPA and Defense Department “have done all they can to sort of drag their feet and avoid meaningful regulatory action in making significant investment in cleanups.”
