  • Oregon Proposes Strictest Vaccine Mandate Law in the U.S.

    Oregon –HB 3063 will eliminate all non-medical vaccine exemptions for school attendance in Oregon (K-12, child/day care, churches with child/day care, and colleges) and prohibits “sharing space with other individuals” at any school related event or activity.

     Oregon homeschool associations OCEANetwork determined that HB 3063 would force homeschooled children in some co-ops to be vaccinated. This bill will impact more than 31,521 students in addition to preschool/daycare and college students and includes those with IEPs.

    Exempt in Oregon means the student didn’t receive ALL 31 of 31 required vaccines for school attendance. Missing even one shot – means the elimination of access public and private, parochial education and the resources of school-related events and activities.

    Medical exemptions will be subject to Oregon Health Authority approval. Doctors can easily be overruled. Whatever your stance on vaccinations is, this bill is a overreach of government into parents’ medical freedom to make choices on their children’s behalf.  As of April 2, the bill sits in the Ways and Means committee for voting.

    “Our office received thousands of emails and hundreds of calls opposing HB 3063.  “This legislation sets a dangerous precedent. One where parents are coerced into medical procedures or risk losing the right for their child to receive an education. By passing this policy, government is choosing to follow fear over freedom, and it is an alarming precedent to set,” said Representative Boles.

    Here’s a summary of some of his points: 

    Two opponents, infectious diseases and a government that is so arrogant that when it looks at us as citizens it says, “we have the vote… we have the moral high ground. So it does not matter you think. We are going to do to you whatever we need to – because we think its right.” 

    Get out a history book. It never ends well when the government forces people against their will. 

    Senator Heard points out the manipulation the pharmaceutical companies on US citizens is extensive; Opioid addiction, $400 epi-pens, Over charging US citizens by 4x the amount compared to other countries for treatment protocols. 

    I don’t understand how the pharmaceutical companies can be the kin of Satan on about every topic you can come up with except when it comes to mandated vaccines. Then they are saints all of a sudden. 

    The CDC facts and statistics show that the trends do NOT suggest we have any kind of issue here. If anything its flat and declining. 

    HB 3063 is being pushed by legislators who claim there is a public health emergency, when in fact, vaccination rates in Oregon have remained constant for over 20 years. Oregon has extremely high MMR rates across all counties. In 2018, 95.8% of Oregon children K-12 had two doses of MMR.

    The Emergency Clause is a mechanism by which Oregon legislators can prevent bills from ever going to citizens for a vote. There is no emergency.

    Oregon Doctors Speaks Out Against Vaccine Mandates

    My family members have been injured and my patients have been injured.

    We do not yet know the precise reason certain individuals are susceptible to vaccine injury, but to say vaccine injury doesn’t occur is incorrect. Yet the pharmaceutical companies cannot be held liable for these injuries. Where is the justice in that? Making tax payers pay millions of dollars for these injuries is wrong.

    How can we mandate the administration of a product that may cause harm all the while making the public pay for the damage? What other industry is exempt from litigation when things go wrong?

    Perhaps most importantly, we must acknowledge that government is overstepping its boundaries here and interjecting itself into the private relationship of a doctor and her patient. Knowing a patient’s full medical, family and social history puts the doctor in the best position to determine how to care for her patient.     But after 15 years of research, I have evidence-based, scientifically grounded concerns about the current CDC vaccine schedule. Part of that concern comes from interviewing dozens of Oregon families and medical doctors who have seen health declines in children after vaccines.

    People don’t realize that we’re requiring nearly four times as many vaccines as we have in the past. They also don’t realize that vaccine injury is compensated by the federal government.     HB 3063 seeks to bar children from school if they’re missing just one vaccine. I oppose H.B. 3063. I believe every Oregonian who takes the time to understand the nuances of this issue will also oppose it. Let’s educate the public about the importance of vaccines, not try to coerce compliance by taking away children’s access to education.

    This mom has only 24 vaccines and wants to know why her children “need” 72 to be considered vaccinated? She vaccinates and makes healthy and judicious choices about which ones her four children need. Grandma came from the generation where you could count the number recommended on one hand. Are we doing too many too soon? Why take away parents’ right to choose? There is no emergency. “My children deserve an education no matter what choices my family makes.” source

    Unvaccinated Are NOT the Source of Measles Outbreaks

    All current measles outbreaks have been traced to international travelers. “US measles outbreaks are linked to travelers who brought measles back from other countries such as Israel and Ukraine, where large measles outbreaks are occurring.” https://www.cdc.gov/measles/cases-outbreaks.html If the Oregon Legislature was concerned with protecting the children of Oregon, they would implement a system to safeguard against international travelers arriving with fever and illness. 

    • HB 3063 is completely devoid of protective measures to prevent future outbreaks. 
    • HB 3063 does not respect religious freedom. 
    • HB 3063 does not uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. 
    • HB 3063 does not provide a free and public (nor paid and private) education for all American children. 
    • HB 3063 does not follow the Nuremberg Code regarding coerced medical experiments. 
    • HB 3063 does not protect the education of thousands of Oregon students with a federally protected IEP. 
    • HB 3063 does not return the taxes that Oregonians are mandated to pay towards the public education that will be denied to excluded and segregated children. 

    To mandate vaccinations, violates the constitution and the rights of parents to make health choices for their children. Even IF vaccinations were totally effective, it is still the right of parents to choose. Oregon Citizen Lobby

  • Deliberate Disinformation: NIAID Director lies to Congress

    NIAID Director rambles about vaccine ‘disinformation on the internet’ then proceeds to lie under oath to Congress. Who’s ready to communicate concerns and reveal the TRUTH directly with elected officials? Federal Officials Should Be Held Accountable! This needs to be corrected! 

    On Feb. 27, 2019, the U.S. House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations held a public hearing on “Confronting a Growing Public Health Threat: Measles Outbreaks in the U.S” that was also broadcast live on C-span.

    Parents across the nation watched and heard the renowned Anthony Fauci, MD, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID),1 either tell a bald faced lie or show his ignorance when he testified, under oath, that MMR vaccine does not cause encephalitis.

    This large dose of disinformation drew gasps of protest from parents attending the Capitol Hill hearing and prompted Committee Chair Diana DeGette (D-CO) to bang the gavel and remind the audience to remain quiet and not express approval or disapproval of testimony.

    It is really hard to watch a distinguished physician like Dr. Fauci mislead legislators by blatantly denying the damage that serious vaccine reactions like brain inflammation can do to children’s brains.     Director of NIAID Gives False Testimony Under Oath to Congress Regarding MMR Vaccine

    As registered voters and citizens, it is our job to ‘maintain the government’ and help Congress learn that this is not the correct answer to the question. It is our job to tell the other side of the story because the truth is the Vaccine Package Insert from Merck, the Vaccine Information Statement from the Center for Disease Control and the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, table of compensable events all say that the measles vaccine CAN cause encephalitis.

  • Chicken Pox Vaccine: the Fine Print and Informed Consent

    Statistics released by the CDC show that 11% of Idaho parents are choosing to opt-out of the chickenpox vaccine for their kindergartner. Idaho parents who choose to opt-out of the chicken pox vaccine have done so after careful risk versus benefit analysis. Research reveals that complications from the chicken pox disease are at a rate of 1.4 per 100,000 (.0014%). Injury or reaction from the vaccine is 1 out of 1,481. Clearly, informed parents realize that the vaccine is riskier than the disease. 

    Moral Objection To Injecting Children With DNA From Aborted Fetuses

    Moral opposition to this vaccine comes in light of the disclosure that the chickenpox vaccine is produced in lung tissue obtained from two surgically aborted human fetuses (Exp. Cell Res. 37:614-636, 1965; Nature 227:168-170, 1970). Merck’s own literature states the vaccine contains “residual components” of fetal lung cells from a fetus of 14 weeks old.
    Informed consent, a fundamental tenet of ethical medical practice, dictates that citizens should have a choice whether or not they are injected with another person’s body cells. [Or anything else.]

    Chicken Pox Vaccine Designed to Save $$ Not Lives

    From the medical and health-care cost perspectives, chicken pox vaccine is a loser. Two studies, one funded by Merck, found that only if lost wages are included for a parent to stay home with a sick child is there cost advantage to using chicken pox vaccine (JAMA 271: 375-381, 1994; J. Ped. 124(6): 869-874, 1994).

    While providing lifelong immunity, chicken pox disease [not vaccine] carries a very low risk of complications and death. Writing in the British medical journal, the Lancet (343: 1363, 1994), a voice of reason, Dr. Arthur Lavin, Department of Pediatrics, St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, presented concerns that “argue strongly against the licensure of varicella vaccine for healthy children.” Lavin asserted: “[Chicken pox] is not major in the sense of disease mortality or morbidity. Therefore, if healthy children were fully vaccinated it is unclear in what significant way the health of the children or the economic health of their families would be improved.

    Summary:

    1. The chicken pox is a benign, self limiting childhood illness. 99.9% of children suffer NO complications and gain life-time immunity. Not a single Idaho child has died from the disease (or complications) in more than a decade.
    2. CDC reports that the Chicken Pox vaccine is NOT effective long term adding a second dose due to waning immunization rates.
    3. Chicken Pox vaccines can cause serious injury or even death. 1 out of every 1,481 children administered the VACCINE suffered adverse reaction.
    4. Complications from the chicken pox disease are EXTREMELY RARE. Complication occur in 1.4 per 100,000 cases of chicken pox in normal children.

    1. Benign Childhood Illness experienced by the entire population as children PRIOR to 1995 vaccine introduction.

    CDC reports there were  3,700,000 cases of chicken pox cases EACH YEAR prior to the vaccine and that there were 100 U.S. deaths each year (50 children and 50 adults)* the majority of those deaths had compromised immune systems or other health problems 

    Before the vaccine the chance of complications resulting in death from chicken pox was .00002702 <source>1

    For 99.9 percent of healthy children, chickenpox is a mild disease without complications. However, up to 20 percent of adults who get chickenpox develop severe complications such as pneumonia, secondary bacterial infections, and brain inflammation (which is reported in less than one percent of children who get chickenpox). Most children and adults who develop these serious complications have compromised immune systems or other health problems.

    2. Chicken Pox Vaccine NOT effective long term with ‘immunity waning’ so that CDC now suggests a second dose. <source> 2

    We give our children the chicken pox vaccine. This vaccine required by many schools and daycares carries a limited protection from the illness and is not guaranteed effective. The vaccine itself contains a LIVE VIRUS which is KNOWN to spread chickenpox to others.
    How Effective is the chicken pox vaccine?

    • Chickenpox vaccine effectiveness is reported to be 44 percent for any form of the disease and 86 percent for moderate to severe disease;

    Consider this. 

    A close friend, has seven children at home. The teen was required to be ‘updated’ on his vaccines in Junior High because the CDC is now acknowledging that the vaccine ‘wears out’ over time. So, in order to continuing attending school activities, he received the chicken pox vaccine. Within days, his elder sibling came down with the illness. Unfortunately, she wasn’t aware that she was sick until she was away from home on her Senior Trip to Disneyland. The vaccine cause her to expose her entire class and those around her at Disneyland to the illness.  Arriving back home, contagious, she then spread the illness to younger siblings, many had already been vaccinated with chicken pox vaccine in the past several years.

    This one family’s story prove that:

    1. The chicken pox vaccine sheds and others do catch the chicken pox disease.

    2. The chicken pox vaccine is not always effective.

    3. Danger of complications from the chicken pox illness increased with age.

    Most concerning is that Chickenpox is much more serious when caught by previously unexposed adults, when it can lead to pneumonia.Mass use of chickenpox vaccine by children in the U.S. has removed natural boosting of immunity in the population, which was protective against shingles, and now adults are experiencing a shingles epidemic.

    From the story above its obvious, the vaccinated individual could spread the disease to the immuno-compromised, who can develop septicaemia or meningitis. 

    4. The vaccine is one of convenience, not about saving lives.

    Is chicken pox really dangerous? The current estimated death rate for chicken pox is only 1.4 per 100,000 cases (0.0014%) in normal children. It rises to 30.9 deaths per I00,000c ases (0.0309%) in adults.

    As you can see,the death rate is still quite small. Although, it is FAR better to contract chicken pox as a child, than to wait until the adult years.

    Its worth noting chickenpox illness is more of a concern of economics than of deadly outbreak. Children are banned from childcare during the long course of the contagious window of chickenpox, a parent has to take up to a week or more off work to look after their afflicted kids at home.  The CDC and local health departments use the ‘time from work’ reason to have children vaccinated.

    5. Is the Chicken Pox Vaccine itself dangerous? YES.
    Some children will have life long injury from the vaccine itself.

    Chickenpox vaccine is already associated with adverse effects in one in 1,481 vaccinations.1

    Using the MedAlerts search engine, as of September 30, 2015 there had been 3,358 serious adverse events reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) in connection with chickenpox and varicella-containing vaccines since 1990. Over half of those serious chickenpox vaccine-related adverse events occurring in children six years old and under. Of these chickenpox-vaccine related adverse event reports to VAERS, 161were deaths, with over 60% of the deaths occurring in children under six years of age.

    IDAHO PARENTS who choose to opt-out of the chicken pox vaccine have done so after careful risk verus benefit analysis. Idaho statue permits a parent’s choice, however, the Idaho Health and Welfare department chooses to attempt to harass and intimidate parents with letters sent home to parents with wording such as; “I also understand that it is my responsibility to provide the school with proof of the vaccines above and that failure to do so will result in exclusion of my child from school.”

    Contrary to the Health Department’s propaganda, Idaho has vaccine exemptions available to all children attending school and daycare. Parents have become educated and according to the CDC numbers, 11% of parents choose to opt-out of the chicken pox vaccine for their kindergarten-aged children.   • North Carolina files lawsuit against attorney helping people legally avoid vaccines

    Vaccine exemptions are under attack. First they eliminated non-medical exemptions and went after the doctors. Now, they are attacking attorneys for helping people legally avoiding vaccines. This is not just a personal attack against Phillips, it’s an attack on the entire vaccine awareness movement, given Phillips’ unique role in helping clients nationally with exemptions and legislative activism!

    The North Carolina State Bar, the agency that licenses NC attorneys, has taken the unprecedented step of filing a lawsuit against the nation’s leading vaccine rights attorney, Alan Phillips, J.D., to force Phillips to hand over years of his clients’ files or risk being jailed for civil contempt…

    Attorney Phillips is the nation’s leading Vaccine Rights attorney, the only attorney whose practice is focused solely on vaccine exemptions and vaccine legislative activism, and who works with clients, attorneys, legislators and activists nationally in virtually every possible U.S. exemption setting.[1] North Carolina is known as “Vaccine Central” for its award-winning vaccine companies.[2] So, it’s not surprising that the NC State Bar is going after Phillips, with what Phillips claims are invented facts and law in a series of steps that appear to have been designed from the start to disbar Phillips, for helping people legally avoid vaccines. 

    BASELESS ATTACK

    The NC Bar’s lawsuit and underlying investigation are both unlawful for several reasons, according to Phillips. First, the Bar lacks the legally-required “allegation of misconduct.” That’s right, they are not even claiming Phillips actually did anything wrong, in which case (or should we say, “witch case”?) there is no legal basis for the investigation or lawsuit! There is also a blatant conflict of interest, Phillips points out, as he filed a good-faith complaint against State Bar attorneys Chess Boardfor their fabrication of facts and law in a February 2017 “Letter of Warning” to Phillips. NC Bar attorneys can’t lawfully investigate Phillips while Phillips has an unresolved complaint open against Bar attorneys; both matters must be addressed by outside, independent people to avoid the obvious conflicts of interest. But the NC Bar is ignoring that conflict; it is suppressing Phillips’ complaint against Bar attorneys, and aggressively pursuing Phillips.

    Phillips is not alone in his claim that NC Bar attorneys have engaged in serious misconduct. His complaint against NC Bar attorneys is supported by two independent legal experts, and Phillips’ own preliminary investigation has turned up other witnesses to NC Bar officials fabricating facts, and other attorneys who claim they were disbarred based on facts invented by NC Bar attorneys. So, there appears to be a very serious problem at the NC State Bar!

    And Phillips isn’t the only one who has filed a complaint against NC Bar attorneys! Several organizations around the country have also filed complaints in recent months, based on contradictions between a NC Bar letter and other information posted on the Internet. NC Bar officials are suppressing these complaints as well—again, avoiding scrutiny of their own actions. Yet, they continue to pass judgment on other NC attorneys. More than just a little ironic…

    Finally, according to Phillips, the NC State Bar’s demand for years of Phillips’ Image result for free images fishingclients’ files amounts to an unlawful “fishing expedition.” That’s a legal term for digging around in private information or documents to see if you can find something wrong, without a legitimate basis for having access to the information in the first place. It violates Constitutional due process. And this “expedition” would be particularly egregious, as it would violate hundreds of Phillips’ clients’ privacy rights based on the most sacred of legal tenets, the attorney-client privilege.

     Phillips fears the court may rubber-stamp the Bar’s unlawful demand, as courts sometimes do with government entities and powerful private persons. But Phillips also believes there is an out-of-the-box solution to the problem that involves putting a public spotlight on the matter, to expose publicly the NC Bar’s misdeeds, on the theory that “even a bad person will do the right thing when there’s a spotlight on them…” For example, Phillips founded a new non-profit, Bar Watch, Inc., to put a light on the NC Bar attorneys’ misconduct, and to garner support for a proper investigation of the NC Bar.

    IDAHO STATUTES CLEARLY STATE: VACCINES ARE NOT MANDATED FOR DAYCARE or SCHOOLS.
    LAW CLEARLY STATE A PARENT’S WRITTEN STATEMENT IS AN ACCEPTABLE FORM OF IMMUNIZATION EXEMPTION. 
    When parents opt to submit the legally acceptable affidavit, Idaho Health Department declines it forcing schools deny the children’s registration.

    Regardless of your opinion on the efficacy of vaccines, it is unacceptable to allow the Department of Health to mandate any form for school enrollment as that violates Idaho statute.

    PROBLEM # 1. LISTING ALL DISEASES/VACCINE EXEMPTED.
     Again, the statutes do NOT require parents to provide this type of information.

    Per the Health Department Director Dick Armstrong, the parents have to supply the school with a list of the exempted vaccines because the school has no other means to know in the event of an outbreak. 
     FALSE!
    The Health Department maintains a database of all children born in Idaho and their immunization status with the system known as IRIS and the schools have access to that information.
     In fact, the IRIS system accessible by health data vendors, the Health Department, Schools and licensed daycares, as well as all doctors and hospitals. Your child’s private medical information is in the system unless you specifically OPT OUT with the Health Department.

     In the event of an outbreak a parent would have to provide proof of immunization for that specific disease or be excluded from school.

    Here is a very recent example from Idaho.
     This is a Feb 17. 2017 Notice from the Coeur d’Alene Public School:
     In the event of two or more confirmed cases in any one building — which classifies as an official outbreak — students who do not have proof of an MMR vaccination, even if they have a signed exemption, will be excluded from the affected school to protect our students and staff.
     Idaho Code 33-512-(7) outlines exclusions related to contagious diseases.
     Exclusions would last 26 days from onset of the last confirmed case.

    **As a parent WHY am I so resistant to having the school have a list of the vaccines I choose to exempt my child from?
    The IRIS tracking system is in place as an OPT OUT system. Meaning they put the information in the system and its my responsibility to make sure I request its removal (each and every time my child visits a provider that gives vaccines.) I can’t access the system to make sure that information is not contained in the central database. Instead I am forced to trust a government agency who has been intimidating and discriminating against people for years with a form that isn’t legal. I feel CERTAIN that my disclosure of this information would find its way into that State IRIS database without my consent and without my knowledge.

    PROBLEM # 2. Acknowledging putting my child at risk…
     Again, the statutes do NOT require parents to provide this type of information.

    Per the Health Department Director Dick Armstrong, parents make the choice to exempt their children of vaccines then they should acknowledge they are putting their children at risk to get the disease.
     FALSE!

    Recent outbreaks prove UNVACCINATED CHILDREN ARE LESS LIKELY TO BECOME INFECTED IN AN OUTBREAK!

    NOTICE the Health Department’s own rule states that there are only 3 items required to invoke the exemption however their form continues to ask for extraneous information.

    There are 2 forms provided by the Department of Health in 2012 to the present. Legally you are required to make a statement of objection (you do not have to clarify that statement), your child’s name and birthday. Any additional information required by schools or the Health Department is illegal.

    RESOURCES:

    The state-prescribed form, based on IDAPA 16.02.15, is in violation of Code 39-4802 and 39-4804. The form developed by IDHW falls far outside the scope of Idaho Code 39-1118(2) and 39-4802(2).

    Let’s Talk About Immunization and Herd Immunity

    The Idaho public health department is insist in the need to have high vaccine rates in our children to protect the population and “maintain herd immunity”. Our state leads the nation in the right to choose to administer ‘preventative’ vaccines to our children. This causes many in the public health department to wring their hands in dismay over the state’s ‘lack of herd immunity protection’. 

    What is your concern about the vaccine exemption form? SHARE THAT WITH ALL the Legislators on the Health and Welfare Committee. This week they were present for a meeting from the health department entitled immunization exemption. Take time to explain how the administrative policies fall outside the scope of the law and how they directly impact your family.
    Here are 3 inconsistencies with the theory of vaccine induced herd immunity that need to be addressed:
    1. Is the concept of herd immunity ONLY for our children? 
    96% of the adult population in our schools and community are NOT up to date on the more than 32 recommended ADULT vaccines.
    This begs the question can a ‘childhood disease’ distinguish age of the individual its infecting? As an adult, Are you up to date on all your shots?  Are you aware of what that means?
    2. Immunization (Vaccine) Exemptions numbers are not accurate. The Idaho Health Department considers immunization exemption rates based on a FULL 36 vaccine schedule for our children. 
    Concerns about 12% of Idaho families are opting out of the ‘chicken pox’ vaccine. Since 2000 to 2013, CDC reports that nationwide there were 68,453 reported chicken pox cases and an average of 19 Americans reported to die of the chicken pox annually. 
    According to the limited death report data for the state, there were NO DEATHS in Idaho from chicken pox. 
    in contrast there was reported 2532 serious reactions to the chicken pox vaccine across the country in those same years. Sixteen Idaho families suffered from serious injury or death from the CHICKEN POX VACCINE over the last 14 years. 
    3. The herd immunity argument has always been inconsistent. On the one hand, the theory goes, people who cannot receive vaccines for whatever reason are protected from the disease through a high level of vaccination in the rest of society. On the other hand, the theory continues, parents who don’t vaccinate their children put the health of wider society at risk. 
    There are SO MANY MORE concepts I won’t  take the time to discuss but I have provided links for further research.
