  • Parasites found in Contaminated Injections

    Vaccines have been found to be contaminated with retroviruses and neurotoxins and parasite eggs and Lyme spirochete rods by independent scientist in the U.S and Italy. WHY are vaccines contaminated? That is the 54 Billion Dollar Question. Vaccine manufacturers made $54 billion in profit last year and maintain a liability-free status in the United States due to the 1984 Vaccine Injury Compensation Act. For those who may be unaware, pharmaceutical companies have no incentive to create safe vaccines because federal law removed their liability for damages caused by these vaccines—and passed it on to the taxpayers.      In 2011, Dr. Judy Mikovitis made the discovery that destroyed her career. She found that at least 30% of our vaccines are contaminated with gammaretroviruses. Not only is this contamination associated with autism and chronic fatigue syndrome, it is also associated with Parkinson’s, Lou Gehrig’s disease, and Alzheimer’s. 

    The retroviruses contaminating vaccines originate from mice used for research. Dr. Mikovits asks, “How many new retroviruses have we created through all the mouse research, the vaccine research, gene therapy research? More importantly, how many new diseases have we created?”

    “When they destroyed all of our work, and discredited everything I or Frank Ruscetti had ever published, and arranged for the publication of my mug shot in Science, the NIH very deliberately sent the message to researchers everywhere about what would happen to any honest scientist who dared ask those important questions.”

    2016 Italian scientists discovered that our vaccines HAVE NOT been cleaned up even though the technology is available.

    Researchers examining 44 samples of 30 different vaccines found dangerous contaminants, including red blood cells in one vaccine and metal toxicants in every single sample tested – except in one animal vaccine.

    An electron-microscopy investigation method was applied to the study of vaccines, aimed at verifying the presence of solid contaminants by means of an Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope equipped with an X-ray microprobe. The results of this new investigation show the presence of micro- and nanosized particulate matter composed of inorganic elements in vaccines’ samples which is not declared among the components and whose unduly presence is, for the time being, inexplicable. A considerable part of those particulate contaminants have already been verified in other matrices and reported in literature as non biodegradable and non biocompatible.     Synergistic toxicity in vaccines.There are many who believe “The Problem” is Thimerosal. There are many who believe “The Problem” is the MMR vaccine.

    It’s neither.It’s both.And SO MUCH MORE.

    A baby is born. On day one, that baby receives the Vitamin K shot (not a vaccine), which contains quite a lot of alcohol and many times the level of vitamin K that any infant would take in during a 24-hour period naturally. Alcohol is detoxified by the liver.

    On that same day, that baby receives the Hepatitis B vaccine – which contains 250 micrograms of aluminum. The FDA safety limit for aluminum in other injected medications (not vaccines – never been studied) is 5 micrograms per kilogram (2.2 pounds) of body weight, administered over a 24 hour period.     Thimerosal is 49.5% mercury. Mercury is toxic.
    Period.
    It is toxic to the brain and it is toxic to the immune system. Mercury is not the only toxin in vaccines.

    Compared to the Childhood Vaccine Schedule of the 1990s, there is far less mercury in vaccines today’s children are receiving. However, it is NOT true that it’s gone. There are still “trace amounts” of the second most toxic substance on the planet in vaccines given to infants and children every day in the United States.

    How much of a poison is safe to inject into your children?

    So glad you asked…The answer depends on how much aluminum your child receives at the same time.Aluminum is an adjuvant. Its purpose in vaccines is to ramp up the immune system. Aluminum increased in childhood vaccines at the same time when mercury (Thimerosal) was being reduced. These two things are not mutually-exclusive events. They are directly related.

    Here’s how…

    Thimerosal (mercury) is a preservative and an anti-microbial. It was used (and still is) in multi-dose vials of vaccines because it helps to prevent contamination. In multi-dose vials, each time the seal is pierced, it increases the chance that the remainder of the vaccine inside the vial will be contaminated. Thimerosal helps to prevent that.

    Multi-dose vials are cheaper to produce than single-dose vials of vaccines.

    When the U.S. government agencies finally made the recommendation for mercury to be taken out of vaccines for American children, vaccine manufacturers were faced with the problem of losing profits because single-dose vials are more expensive.

    What to do? What to do???

    Well… they figured out a way to use smaller bits and pieces of viruses and bacteria, but they needed an adjuvant to be sure the weaker vaccines were able to stimulate the immune system response. That’s why the amount of aluminum has increased so much since Thimerosal was “removed.” Aluminum makes single dose vials of vaccines cheaper.

    Like mercury, aluminum is also neuro-toxic and immuno-toxic (remember The FDA safety limit? It was set for a reason.) But… aluminum is a very good adjuvant, so it ramps up the immune system and makes it respond to even smaller bits and pieces of viruses and bacteria…AND TOXINS.

    The reason why aluminum is used in vaccines in the first place, is exactly why aluminum is SO DANGEROUS when combined with even the smallest amounts of OTHER TOXINS – including Thimerosal (still present in “trace amounts”), formaldehyde, polysorbate 80, MSG and others.

    Aluminum ramps up the immune system – and just think about what that does when food proteins are injected along with aluminum.

    Do you think it’s any great coincidence that those proteins used in vaccines for infants and children (milk, egg, yeast, peanut) are among the most frequently diagnosed and the most serious food allergies in children? (increased food allergies)

    Here’s what happens..

    Infant is vaccinated with hep B (virus) containing 250 mcg.

    Aluminum on first day of life. Liver is already overwhelmed from alcohol in the vitamin K shot.

    Infant develops jaundice (or worse).Infant receives 6-9 vaccines simultaneously at each of his/her “well-baby checks” at 2, 4, and 6 months of age.

    At each appointment, infant receives way more than the FDA “safe” amount of aluminum and mercury (since there is no safe amount of mercury), along with multiple viruses, bacteria, food proteins, animal proteins and DNA.Infant starts having signs of immune-system problems, usually within a short time of the 4 month vaccinations (if not before), and is then started on multiple rounds of antibiotics for ear infections and upper respiratory infections. Infant also starts having weird rashes (“viral”) and “fevers of unknown origin.

    What parents and physicians don’t realize or take into account is what happens to the blood-brain-barrier (BBB) and the lining of the gastrointestinal tract as a result of the repeated injection of aluminum and mercury. Blood Brain Barrier

    Healing

    There are certain things that are ESSENTIAL in the human body. Among those that are most important are Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. These, along with Elemental Lithium, are “ESSENTIAL MINERALS.” They are essential because when they are out of whack, nothing works right.

    Magnesium and Zinc are each involved in more than 300 enzymatic processes in the body, so when either one of them is depleted, or bio-unavailable, enzymes don’t work. When the enzymes don’t work, the body doesn’t work.

    Period.

    And here’s another fun fact – the essential minerals have to be in the right ratio in the body and if they aren’t, they don’t work. So if you have zinc, but you don’t have the right amount of magnesium, zinc doesn’t work (it’s bio-unavailable), and vice-versa.Aluminum and mercury deplete magnesium and zinc.

    ZINC is essential to maintain the integrity of BOTH the blood-brain-barrier AND the lining of the gastrointestinal tract.

    The linings of the GI tract and the protective covering of the brain both contain something called “zinc fingers.” Zinc fingers are like the weaves in a very well-constructed basket. Native Americans used to make baskets with weaves so tight they would not leak when filled with water. That’s what zinc fingers do for the brain and the gut. They keep the weaves tight. They keep good things in and they keep bad things out.

    When zinc is either depleted or bio-unavailable, due to displacement by aluminum and mercury, those weaves open up. The GI tract and the BBB become “hyper-permeable.” As in… intestinal hyper-permability (“leaky gut syndrome”) and increased permeability of the blood-brain-barrier, which allows the passage into the central nervous system (CNS) of things like viruses and bacteria which should NOT be there.

    Some of the research regarding MMR vaccine and “autism” involves the finding of active measles virus in the gastrointestinal tract and in the central nervous systems of children diagnosed with “autism.” Those researchers who are looking at MMR vaccine may say, “Aha! MMR vaccine causes the GI problems and brain problems that lead to the behaviors and then the diagnosis of ‘autism!’”

    Some of the research regarding Thimerosal/mercury and “autism” involves the finding that symptoms of “autism” are identical to symptoms of mercury toxicity, and children who regress into ‘autism’ after receiving vaccines containing mercury tend to have problems with the excretion of mercury. Those researchers may say, “Aha! Thimerosal in vaccines causes “autism!”

    Both are correct.Neither is exclusively correct, and neither is wrong.

    Let’s start talking about the fact that the amount of aluminum injected in vaccines has never been studied for safety or efficacy. And while we’re at it, let’s talk about the fact that those 6-9 vaccines given at each of the “well-baby checks” have never been studied as they are being administered.

  • Parent’s Opinions are Valid…Only When They Conform To the Government’s View?

    The well-publicized measles outbreaks In Washington, New York, and Texas have inflamed the debate over vaccines. Regardless of vaccination rates measles disease outbreaks cycle every 2 or 3 years as they did BEFORE the vaccine. (more about measles cases pre/post vaccine) Pro-vaccine advocates use this as an opportunity to introduce legislation that eliminate exemptions and mandate vaccinations. 

    In Early March 2019, the Federal Government hosted committee meetings in both the House and the Senate. The Senate meeting titled “Vaccines Save Lives: What is Driving Preventable Disease Outbreaks?”  was, as the name suggests, primarily a pro-vaccine hearing that focused on the effectiveness of certain vaccines. It featured five witnesses, four of whom were either licensed medical doctors or have decades of medical experience. The fifth was Ethan Lindenberger, a high school student who has captured the attention of the media for getting vaccinated against his mother’s wishes. All five testified in favor of vaccines.

    Much of the discussion between the committee members and witnesses focused on the benefits of vaccines and possible ways to increase vaccination rates, such as funding for vaccine education programs and solutions to make expensive vaccines more readily available.

    Think about it – when was the last time that there were hearings in both the House and the Senate on the same topic within 6 days of each other?  This is a coordinated effort by pharmaceutical industry PR and astroturf organizations.  They are laying the ground work to push for federal vaccine mandates – which will maximize their markets.  – Children’s Health Defense

    There is currently no bill in Congress that would mandate vaccines. But conversations are happening, and many are not favorable to parental rights. 

    Senator Alexander: “Internet fraudsters who claim that vaccines are not safe, are preying on the unfounded fear and daily struggles of parents, and they’re creating a public health hazard that is entirely preventable.”

    This is unsurprising, because, despite relatively poor coverage of most vaccines in the adult population (since most weren’t on the schedule until the mid- to late 90s, or after 67% of the current population was past childhood vaccination age), they like to pretend that ‘herd immunity’ could possibly exist in the population as a whole.

    While no one suggested mandating vaccines from the federal level, the tone of the hearing was clear: the committee members and witnesses believe vaccines are an unequivocal societal good and anyone who disagrees poses a threat.  

    A threat to health? Perhaps not.

    3. Dr. John Wiesman: Washington State Department of Health receives federal funds, over 46% of the WSDH budget is from federal sources.     Not a single doctor, scientist, lawyer, or vaccine injured person/parent was allowed to speak on the risks associated with vaccines.

They would hold the Hearing in an adequately sized room, where all could attend and participate.     The Hearing left out very critical pieces of information:

    The Committee communicated that parents’ opinions are only valid so long as they conform with the government’s. This was a show… meant to scare the public and further their agenda. This was and has been all about the money for decades.

  • Healthcare Employee: Your Right to Vaccine Exemption

    Hundreds of healthcare workers requested information about the discrimination they are facing in the workplace due to mandated vaccinations. These individuals are being terminated from employment over a medical procedure that violates their conscience or moral belief. 

    The very unfortunate reality is that our health freedoms are under attack in our country. The choice to be vaccinated or not as an adult should be a private decision, but now our vaccination status has become a condition for employment at many hospitals.

    Those who fight for a religious or medical exemption are often denied due to strict interpretations by hospital policy administrators. The assistance of a vaccine lawyer is often required to successfully utilize exemptions that hospital policies will allow. Placing dedicated hospital employees in the difficult position as of either submitting to a dangerous medical procedure or face being fired is unethical and unfair.

    While the federal government cannot restrict or enforce vaccine mandates they can protect individuals facing discrimination by their employers. 

    In January 2018, the current administration established division of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that was designed “to restore federal enforcement of our nation’s laws that protect the fundamental and unalienable rights of conscience and religious freedom” and specifically provides oversight to those organizations that receive federal funding.     Three Steps to Preserving Your Civil Rights

    1. START – With Hospital/Administration Policy Makers

    There are steps you need to take prior to termination in order to protect yourself. Start by submitting an attorney drafted letter requesting religious accommodation for vaccine exemption and providing the hospital/entity with information regarding their civil rights violations. It is easier to attempt to change your hospital/employers internal policy towards protecting the civil rights of employees and ultimately affecting you and your co-workers in a positive manner.

    2. NEXT – File With the New HHS Department

    What is the consequence to the employer who participates in moral/religious discrimination?

    An entity receiving federal funding through HHS has the potential of losing the federal funding if they violate an individual’s right for religious or moral conscience. This could be an opening to ensure that all vaccine coercion at a state level is stopped from a federal level.  Alan Phillips J.D. said that it appears that the rules updated November 2018 do NOT EXCLUDE vaccinations.

    Christiana Hilderbrand of a Voice for Choice Advocacy shared earlier this year that the new Conscience and Religious Department of the HHS might afford an opportunity for employees to be heard on matters of religious discrimination from ‘immunization policies’ in the workplace for those organizations/employers receiving HHS funding. (See her video here).

    Kent Heckenlively, JD commented on the new HHS Department with encouraging words:

    How can you know if your employer is receiving federal funds?

    There are very few organizations that do NOT receive federal funding from of one of the numerous programs offered by HHS.

    Has your conscience or religious freedom been violated?

    Complaints filed earlier this year are currently being reviewed. It is critical for those who have experienced discrimination to file a complaint.

    HHS Office for Civil Rights, Director Roger Severino said,

    “Law protecting religious freedom and conscience rights are just empty words on paper if they aren’t enforced.  No one should be forced to choose between helping sick people and living by one’s deepest moral or religious convictions, and the new division will help guarantee that victims of unlawful discrimination find justice.  For too long, governments big and small have treated conscience claims with hostility instead of protection, but change is coming and it begins here and now.”

    How do I file a complaint?

    The process is rather straightforward. Gather specific information, names, dates about the situation and fill out the online form. 

    How Long Does The Process Take?

    Many have filed complaints, but few have heard a response back. Some individuals have indicated that they received word back that their complaints have been received by the HHS with an investigation pending.     Is Filing With HHS the Only Course Of Action? No, Says Alan Phillips J.D.

    Alan Phillips, the nation’s leading vaccine rights attorney, speaks with authority about vaccine exemptions in the workplace. He started the event reminding us that if you speak out against corruption, you risk being attacked. If you stay silent, it is certain we will all be attacked.

    Alan shared his expertise with the audience regarding vaccine exemption discrimination in the workplace.

    So How Do We ‘Stand Together’?

    Mr. Phillips feels that the HHS may not be the most productive place to file a complaint as an employee. As a new department, it doesn’t seem to follow it’s internal rules and may be inconsistent in how they approach cases. He filed two complaints with the department and hasn’t heard back on either. However he explained further, 

    “The worst thing that could happen if you file a complaint of employment discrimination with the HHS is you will receive a letter back saying ‘we can’t help you.’

    3. File A Complaint With the EEOC: The Best Opportunity To Be Heard 

    The Federal Department that has long handled discrimination cases is the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). 

    • To preserve the ability of EEOC to act on your behalf and to protect your right to file a private lawsuit, you should contact EEOC promptly when discrimination is suspected: The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), 1-800-669-4000 (toll-free) or 1-800-669-6820 (toll-free TTY number for individuals with hearing impairments) or go to www.eeoc.gov.

    Colton Boyles, associate with the Davillier Law Group in Sandpoint, Idaho, provided information about religious discrimination in the workplace by reading from the EEOC compliance manual found on their website:

    “Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits employers from discriminating against individuals because of their religion (or lack of religious belief) in hiring, firing, or any other terms and conditions of employment. The EEOC definition of ‘religion’ typically concerns ultimate ideas about life, purpose, and death.”

    A recent case of religious vaccine exemption denial and how the EEOC and DOJ both got involved.  

    Ms. Williams was terminated from employment at a nursing home that mandated flu shots because her employer refused her request for religious exemption. On October 24, 2016, Williams met with Campus Administrator Ralph Luedtke, the Center’s highest-ranking official, and requested a religious exemption from its mandatory vaccination policy. In their meeting, Williams explained that she had a religious belief stemming from her interpretation of the Bible that prohibited her from putting certain foreign substances, including vaccinations, in her body because it was a “Holy Temple.” Williams told Luedtke that she believed that receiving a vaccination would violate that religious prohibition. Luedtke told Williams that if she did not receive a vaccination she would be terminated. Specifically, Luedtke told Williams that if she did not get the shot, “Consider this your last day.”

    Ms. Willliams had provided a letter ci the Bible and from friends and relatives citing the sincerity of her belief. The official refused to accept the letter and Williams submitted to the flu shot in order to maintain her employment. The DOJ concluded that the Center could have reasonably accommodated Williams’ religious objection to receiving the mandatory flu shot. The Center’s refusal to allow Williams to verify the sincerity of her religious exemption request by using something other than a letter from a clergy member was unjustified. In fact, since Williams filed her charge, the Center changed its policy and no longer requires a letter from a clergy leader to obtain a religious exemption to the flu vaccination requirement. The Center is a public, non-religious employer. The requirement that the letter be from a clergy leader was not necessary for the Center’s business purposes and was not related to the Center’s business operations.

    FILE A COMPLAINT SOONER RATHER THAN LATER. If you are discriminated against, time is of the essence!  You have a window of 180 days.

    Mr. Phillips explains that an employer (with 15 or more employees) is under obligation from the Federal Government to adhere to the civil rights act of 1964. 

    “You request a religious exemption, whether or not your employer offers it. You request it and that triggers their legal obligation to accommodate it. They have to accommodate you unless they can prove it will cause them ‘undue hardship’. What that usually means, it’s going to cost them a lot of money.”

    “Title VII requires an employer, once on notice that a religious accommodation is needed, to reasonably accommodate an employee whose sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance conflicts with a work requirement, unless doing so would pose an undue hardship. Under Title VII, the undue hardship defense to providing religious accommodation requires a showing that the proposed accommodation in a particular case poses a “more than de minimis” cost or burden. Note that this is a lower standard for an employer to meet than undue hardship under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) which is defined in that statute as “significant difficulty or expense.”

    Mr. Phillips said that in all the 500 cases he’s been involved in the past seven years, not a single employer has claimed undue hardship due to an exemption of the flu shot by employees.

    When an employee requests a religious accommodation, the employer has an obligation to provide that to the employee. Time is of the essence! EEOC Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (Title VII) charges must be filed with EEOC within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory act.

    Again, to preserve the ability of EEOC to act on your behalf and to protect your right to file a private lawsuit, you should contact EEOC promptly when discrimination is suspected: The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), 1-800-669-4000 (toll-free) or 1-800-669-6820 (toll-free TTY number for individuals with hearing impairments).

    Fortunately for now, the majority of hospitals appear to recognize a Title VII right for their employees to refuse vaccines for religious reasons, and most of the healthcare worker have been successful in refusing vaccines and keeping their jobs without facing the decision of whether or not to sue. As long as you avoid the legal pitfalls and your employer has a religious exemption policy, there’s a good chance of success.

    What Is the WORST Thing You Can Do When Filing For a Religious Accommodation?

    Mr. Phillips reiterated that the worst thing an employee can do when requesting a religious accommodation is to mention vaccine harm.

    The last thing you want to do on a statement of religious beliefs is mention that vaccines are harmful because that’s a medical issue. It’s not about whether they ARE or AREN’T harmful. That’s a question, according to the courts and the law anyway, that’s going to be ultimately answered in science. So that is NOT A PROTECTED RELIGIOUS BELIEF.

    Exemption Policies That Violate Civil Rights

    • What if my employer has a “religious exemption” but I have to get “clergy support” (e.g. a letter from a minister stating it is against my organized religious beliefs)? That is a blatant violation of civil rights! You do NOT have to be a member of a religious organization. 
    • Religious Exemptions for the Non-Religious Individual. You don’t have to believe in a western theological deity! In fact, an atheist can have a firmly held belief against the animals use in vaccines and have their vaccine exemption protected under the protection against “religious discrimination.”

    WATCH OUT FOR LEGAL PITFALLS!

    The definition of “religion” in terms of the law is different than the “common sense” idea of religion. Mr. Phillips warns the viewer, “If you are in a situation in the employment arena where you have to state your beliefs, do your research and hire an attorney to draft your letter that is legally sound.”

    You can’t “unsay” statements. Once you put it out there, you are pretty much stuck with it. The safest thing is to consult a knowledgeable attorney in order to protect your right to vaccine exemption so that you can approach this from the start from a legally sound place. That’s going to give you the best chance of succeeding in your goal of exemption.

    “The two best ways to make informed decisions on vaccine exemptions and waivers are to consult an experienced attorney, and/or purchase The Authoritative Guide to Vaccine Legal Exemptions e-book. Beware of Internet advice. Even highly reputable sites, including those of alternative medical doctors and vaccine book authors, provide information about vaccine rights that is usually a mixture of accurate and inaccurate information. Some who have relied on anti-vaccine websites have lost exemption rights unnecessarily. If it doesn’t come from an attorney experienced in this area of the law, beware! “

  • Vaccine Fraud Putting Our Children at Risk

    Drug companies creating U.S. vaccines are GUILTY of fraud. Why is it when these companies say vaccines are ‘safe and effective’ – we still believe them?     Christopher (age 14) became ill and was diagnosed with Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM)  shortly after receiving the Gardasil (HPV) vaccine. He died within weeks. ADEM is a reported adverse effect of the  Gardasil vaccine.   • Congress Calls For An End Of Using Aborted Humans For Spare Parts In Medicine and Vaccines

    Aborted humans are used as spare part to create medicine and vaccines. Fetal-tissue harvesting is a very lucrative industry, and just a small percentage of research could yield huge profits. Billions of dollars are involved in fetal-tissue research and harvesting, and the federal government participates in it in a big way.  

    Fetal tissue is generally obtained through abortions, and is used to develop cells that “mimic many of the properties that they have in a living body, and therefore can be used as a model for researchers studying basic biological processes,” according to a Congressional Research Service report from 2015. The National Institutes of Health now spends around $100 million a year on research involving human fetal tissue, government data shows.

    The issue was brought to the fore in recent months by a comparatively small contract for fetal tissue the Food and Drug Administration announced in June. It planned to purchase around $16,000 of “human fetal tissue” for tests to determine how humans might respond to medications. 

    “Fresh human tissues are required for implantation into severely immune-compromised mice to create chimeric animals that have a human immune system,” FDA said at the time. “This human immune system allows us to test biological drug products for safety and efficacy.” – from CNN article.

    More than 80 House Republicans wrote a letter to the FDA earlier this month calling for the cancellation of the contract. 

    “Unborn children are not commodities to be bought and sold,” they wrote. “The practice of conducting research using the body parts of children whose lives have been violently ended by abortion is abhorrent.”

    The HHS statement said the administration will push for alternatives to fetal tissue research be “funded and accelerated.”

    The fact that aborted humans are used as spare parts for our vaccines has not been hidden, for those who look closer at the CDC Vaccine Excipient list. Legislators, doctors and the general public simply need to look at the list and the truth will be revealed.

  • Fetal Bovine Serum: Why Vaccines are Not Vegan

    Are you vegan? Did you even know that many vaccines use animal DNA to grow and culture the bacterium or virus being vaccinated against?      It has been estimated that around half a million litres of raw FCS is produced each year worldwide which equates to the harvesting of more than one million bovine fetuses annually. (1) Some sources have suggested that the actual figure may be closer to two million fetuses per year. (2)

    After slaughter and bleeding of the cow at an abattoir, the mother’s uterus containing the calf fetus is removed during the evisceration process (removal of the mother’s internal organs) and transferred to the blood collection room. (3). A needle is then inserted between the fetus’s ribs directly into its heart and the blood is vacuumed into a sterile collection bag. This process is aimed at minimizing the risk of contamination of the serum with micro-organisms from the fetus and its environment. Only fetuses over the age of three months are used otherwise the heart is considered too small to puncture. (4)

    Once collected, the blood is allowed to clot at room temperature and the serum separated through a process known as refrigerated centrifugation.

    It remains questionable as to whether or not fetuses have already died from anoxia (deprivation of oxygen) prior to serum collection. Nevertheless, no anesthesia is given, despite their possible ability to experience pain and discomfort.

  • Meningitis Facts

    IDHW is set to add another vaccine to the required high school schedule. Meningitis. According to the IDHW website, meningitis refers to an inflammation of the tissues covering the brain and spinal cord. This inflammation can be caused by viruses and fungi, as well as bacteria. Viral meningitis is the most common type: it has no specific treatment but is usually not as serious as meningitis caused by bacteria. CDC mortality statistics reveal that there is a literal one in a million chance you will die from bacterial meningitis in the US. There are around 300 cases in the United States annually. CDC reflects a downward trend in the disease prior to vaccine recommendations. [1]Idaho has an average of 3 cases a year the past twelve years. Still, Idaho Health Department intends on requiring an additional dose of the MenACWY meningitis vaccine for a majority of the state’s high schoolers. 

    The CDC says there are two types of meningococcal vaccines available in the United States:

    • (MenACWY) Meningococcal conjugate vaccines targeting A, C, Y, and W-135 (Menactra® and Menveo®)
    • (MenB) Serogroup B meningococcal vaccines (Bexsero® and Trumenba®) 
      Serogroup B is now responsible for 60% of U.S. cases of meningococcal disease

    During public testimony July 2018, IDHW gave the reasoning for this new requirement of an additional dose of the MenACWY vaccine. The CDC added it to the recommended schedule. And, it’s to protect the students who decide to go to college. Yes, you might have you heard of the meningitis outbreaks on college campuses. 

    The flaw with this reasoning? The MenACWY vaccine is NOT the bacterial strain most commonly found on college campuses outbreaks.[2] According to the National Meningitis Association, the serogroup B bacteria accounts for more than one-third of the cases of the disease in the country and is only covered by the MenB vaccine. 

    It’s puzzling if the reason for adding an additional requirement is for the protection of future college students, then why not mandate the alternate MenB vaccine? 

    Meningitis is a very rare disease.
    In the United States last year there were 372 cases. 31 of cases aged 16 -23 of the strains covered by the MenACWY vaccine.

    • The MenACWY vaccine IDHW intends on requiring for high school covers 2/3rd of the bacterial strains of meningitis but NOT the bacteria of most serious concern for young adults. 
      • Serogroup B accounts for one-third of U.S. cases, and is the most common cause of disease in adolescents. The required vaccine doesn’t cover Serogroup B.
    • MenACWY has proven less than 58% effective two to five years after vaccination. In a college setting 91% of students who got meningitis were vaccinated with the MenACWY vaccine.

    Is meningitis serious? 

    Yes. But, with only 4 strains of bacterial meningitis and 0 strains of viral meningitis are in the recommended vaccine, it’s a guessing game, similar to the flu shot, on which strain you’d even be exposed to. The vaccine, in creating an artificial immune response, actually leaves you more vulnerable to the more virulent strains of meningitis, not covered in the vaccine. 

    Meningitis isn’t spread by standing next to a person. The bacteria doesn’t live very long outside the body. Transmission is spread exchange of saliva through kissing, sharing drinks or sharing toothbrushes.  

    Neisseria meningitidis, the meningococcal bacteria, is passed by coughing or contact with saliva and is normally present in the respiratory tracts of healthy people without causing disease [3, 4, 5]. In fact, probably no one escapes infection. Symptomatic disease is quite rare for N. meningitidis. As such, 100% of the population, vaccinated or not, are asymptomatic carriers at some point in their lives. In fact, at any time, 5-35% of the population is silently carrying the bacteria, though the numbers often rise to nearly 100% in close quarters, such as military barracks and college campuses [4]. 

    Is the meningococcal vaccine safe?

    • The meningococcal vaccine has been found to be about 58 percent effective within two to five years after adolescents have gotten the shot and, in 2011, CDC recommended that all 16-year-olds get a booster dose of meningococcal vaccine; 
    • The manufacturer product inserts for meningococcal vaccine list adverse events reported during clinical trials or post-licensure, including irritability, abnormal crying, fever, drowsiness, fatigue, injection site pain and swelling, sudden loss of consciousness (syncope), diarrhea, headache, joint pain, Guillain Barre Syndrome (paralysis), brain inflammation, convulsions, and facial palsy. 
    • Using the MedAlerts search engine, as of August 5, 2018, there were 24,344 cases of reported adverse reactions reported to the the federal Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), for the MenACWY vaccines which includes only a small fraction of the health problems that occur after vaccination in the U.S., The vaccine caused 2477 serious health problems, hospitalizations and injuries following meningococcal shots, including 146 deaths. 

    Is the meningococcal vaccine effective?

    92% of college students living onsite who contracted the meningitis were vaccinated against the disease with the MenACWY vaccine Idaho Health Department is requiring for high school students.

     

    Is the mandate of an additional vaccine necessary?

    The disease is on a downward trend, even without the ‘herd immunity rate’ of 95%. 

    Figure 1 shows incidence rates (per 100,000 persons) of meningococcal disease in the United States by year from 1970 to 2016. The incidence rate began declining in 1995; however, it has reached an historic low of 0.12 in 2016. View data for this chart.

    Idaho infectious disease reports shows the following for Neisseria meningitidis, often referred to as meningococcus. Which causes cause meningitis and other forms of meningococcal disease such as meningococcemia, a life-threatening sepsis. 

    Idaho’s rate of infection shows actual cases reported for the ACYW serogroups average 3 cases a year.  Nowhere is it reported that meningitis was transmitted in a school setting.
    Taking into account the vaccine effectiveness rate of 58% that’s recommending vaccines for a majority of high school students to prevent about 1 case of meningitis that does not even show transmitted in a school setting.

    There is no discussion here about the financial impact of requiring an ineffective vaccine for our high school students. Those who testified in favor of the new vaccine requirement would all financially benefit from the increased vaccine load. The individuals who spoke against the vaccine recommendations were parents of students who would be directly impacted by any adverse reaction their child would suffer. 

    How can you, as a parent, best protect your child from meningococcal infection?

    Answer:  Improve your child’s immune system by providing a healthy diet of whole foods that are rich in nutrients.  Give supplements that are high in antioxidants, balanced B-vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids.  Give extra vitamin D3 during cold and flu season.  Heal the gut if your child has gastrointestinal problems.   Stress the importance of getting enough sleep and fresh air.   Help your child learn to relax.  And, just say NO to vaccines that damage your child’s innate immune system.
